You have to do this. Not only do you learn about the city and its architecture, but it also doubles as a (minor) history of the city, and of Germany as a whole. Natalie is amazing, both in her knowledge and her ability to communicate in a clear and entertaining way. She answered all of my questions and still kept the tour moving along and still fun. While the tour has a pre-planned route, Natalie asked me if there were any special buildings I would like to see/learn about, and gave me info on them as well! 12 out of 10, would recommend!

I was looking for someone to take my son through Berlin during my conference days, including pick-up and drop-off. Natalie kept steady contact and arranged 2 days for Filip; the program she prepared was tailored to his interests - it was great to see how much a 13-year old can absorb with a great guide. First things first, if you are checking reviews to find the right guide for Berlin, just stop and book Natalie. She's absolutely fantastic and made our experience in Berlin very memorable.
We spent the first day doing the highlights tour with one of her associates (Jochen) who was great and the next three doing Sachsenhausen, an architecture / Berlin Wall Memorial and finally a day in Potsdam with her and would have no hesitation recommending any of those tours to others.
In addition, she was fantastic / patient with our four year old and found ways to get her involved during long tour days. My little one is typically shy around new people and she was able to open up and even ask a few questions about things that sparked her interest during the days.

Natalie is an exceptional guide: extremely knowledgeable, organized, flexible and thoughtful. We slotted a six-hour tour with her and she took us to World War II and Cold War sites, among many others in Berlin. The time just flew by. An architect by training, she has special expertise at explaining all the building styles around this great city. And she followed up when the tour was over with additional ideas for us to try on our own. I cannot recommend her more highly!

Berlin walking tour with Dylan as our guide. My husband and I cannot thank Dylan enough for the walking tour of Berlin we did with him. Dylan is so knowledgeable on the sites we visited we feel grateful that we had this experience with him. Dylan gave thoughtful information on the history of the sites as well as great advice on other sites not covered by the tour. Thank you for sharing your morning and experience with us.
