Paul was amazing, made us feel super comfortable and was very persistent with trying to get us the best 4D scan. We wouldn’t hesitate to go back for another baby scan here.

Sadly having to update my earlier review as subsequent experience has been absolutely terrible. Not all the sonographers here are of the same standard, and management is absolutely appalling. If you have early pregnancy concerns I would strongly advise you save yourself a huge amount of stress and heartache and just go to the NHS early maternity unit. Will most definitely not be returning.

Victor who carried out my scan, was exceptionally kind and compassionate taking the time to explain everything clearly to me. Although it is still very early in my pregnancy (5 weeks) and too soon to get a lot of information, he reassured me that everything looked ok, with the sac measuring correctly and located in the right place.
That reassurance meant so much to me and gave me real peace of mind during a very stressful moment. I’ll need to return in 10–14 days for a follow-up, but the wait now feels far more manageable.
This experience was far more comforting than having to sit in A&E, and I’m incredibly thankful for the care I received. I will absolutely continue using Ultrasound Plus Brentwood throughout my pregnancy and would highly recommend them to anyone needing reassurance. I am so grateful to both Victor and the lovely receptionist who sat in with me during the scan.

I attended this clinic with my husband for an emergency scan following a previous miscarriage, and unfortunately the experience was deeply distressing.
While I was waiting, the receptionist loudly congratulated another patient multiple times at the desk but could be heard easily across the waiting room. In a setting where many people are attending due to complications or loss, this felt extremely insensitive and painful to hear.
During the scan, the sonographer communicated very little. He spent a long time silently looking at the screen while my husband and I were left panicking, and then told us there was no heartbeat without offering empathy, clear explanations, or guidance on next steps. We had to ask all the questions ourselves at an incredibly traumatic moment.
Afterwards, we were given no clear direction about what to do next and were asked to sign additional paperwork without explanation. I asked the receptionist if there was anything else she just looked at me blankly and said ‘that’s all’. We then had to walk back through a full staring waiting room in tears, which felt unnecessarily exposing given the circumstances. We left in shock and with painful heartbreak.
At such a vulnerable time, compassion and sensitivity are essential. Sadly, we felt neither supported nor cared for, and we will not be returning for future care.
Had a male sonographer on the 29/01/26 was absolutely fantastic really polite tried for ages to get the correct position and done multiple things tho help
