Excellent baby scan today at Ultrasound Plus in Brentwood. Teresa and Gemma were very friendly and welcoming, and the scan was very detailed. We took two extra visitors (Grandparents to be!) as well so they could see the baby on screen. Would definitely go back!

Well-run, professional service from start to finish. The sonographer, MacDonald, explained the process throughout and talked me through the ultrasound images on the screen, which was both informative and reassuring. The final report and scan images were sent securely within an hour of my appointment. Excellent value, efficient service, and clear, actionable results. I would happily recommend them

Just a big shoutout to Ultrasound Plus Brentwood and Dr Ugwunso Victor. Had an emergency appointment today and it was great. My first time there, didn’t know what to expect, a bit anxious. First of all, thank you Dr Ugwunso Victor for making me feel so relaxed, he is extremely respectful, unlike other places I have attended where the sonographers (all female in the past) make you feel intimidated when asked to undress and are rude. This Dr left the room giving me privacy both to undress and dress, had his eyes at the screen at all times, so for all ladies that are ashamed to have a consultation with a male Dr, there is no need. Couldn’t meet someone more respectful than Dr Victor. He explained everything in a very polite manner, checked everything thoroughly, made sure that I understood everything that he explained and talked through everything that he was checking and gave me reassurance. After leaving the clinic, I then received all the pictures and the report, which is easy to understand, on email . Thank you Ultrasound Plus Brentwood!

Sadly having to update my earlier review as subsequent experience has been absolutely terrible. Not all the sonographers here are of the same standard, and management is absolutely appalling. If you have early pregnancy concerns I would strongly advise you save yourself a huge amount of stress and heartache and just go to the NHS early maternity unit. Will most definitely not be returning. -------------------------- Victor who carried out my scan, was exceptionally kind and compassionate taking the time to explain everything clearly to me. Although it is still very early in my pregnancy (5 weeks) and too soon to get a lot of information, he reassured me that everything looked ok, with the sac measuring correctly and located in the right place. That reassurance meant so much to me and gave me real peace of mind during a very stressful moment. I’ll need to return in 10–14 days for a follow-up, but the wait now feels far more manageable. This experience was far more comforting than having to sit in A&E, and I’m incredibly thankful for the care I received. I will absolutely continue using Ultrasound Plus Brentwood throughout my pregnancy and would highly recommend them to anyone needing reassurance. I am so grateful to both Victor and the lovely receptionist who sat in with me during the scan.
