Captain Jim and First Mate Justin were wonderful on the sunset cruise. 2nd time back here (has been years) but what a wonderful time. Weather was great and had both sails up. Definitely worth a visit! Calm and serene when cruising along with no engines running.

This was a very peaceful, lovely evening sail. It gives you great views of Fort Lauderdale against the sunset while sipping champagne. The location is also close to many restaurants and bars in case you want to stop and eat afterwards or before. The boat felt safe and very clean.
A few things I would suggest to the company just to make things easier and more streamlined for check in: include instructions to your kiosk in the booking information and have a sign that is visible from the sidewalk and street. We stopped and asked directions several times before we found the kiosk for check in and the boat.

Thank you to Captain Terry and Justin for taking such great care of our large, crazy family of friends. We took over the catamaran in celebration of a very special 40th birthday and everything was absolutely perfect. We will definitely do this again and it can’t come soon enough!!

Anytime you can get out on the water with a professional crew you should! The evening was calm, the crew was kind and unpretentious, and the catamaran gave a smooth sail out on Biscayne Bay. Overall the price was appropriate for the experience not overtly fancy. There was no seating out on the deck. My only complaint.

Captain John and Justin did a great job sailing and explained all the directions on how to be safe with our two kids - they had a slide, mat to lay on in the water, and a large tube. Weather was great and we enjoyed ourselves! Would highly recommend to others!

Terrible experience- 60th Birthday party cancelled because they said they couldn’t maneuver the boat because of Boat Show- ruined our night

Hello Roger, we are very sorry the boat show organizers allowed a vessel to be placed in a manner that blocked our catamaran. We have been coordinating with the organizers since June to prevent this from happening. However the crew of the large vessel blocking our exit from the marina docked in the wrong slip and left without providing any contact info. We began trying to reach your party as soon as we saw this issue at 4:15. However the group was already in the bar next to the boat and told crew that she couldn't hear her phone over the music. Once we explained to everyone the situation they all seemed understanding and that the situation was south of our control. We provided drink passes to the Shorely and refunded everyone. We wish you would consider removing the 1 star, as this situation was beyond our control. Perhaps this one star could be better served to the Ft. Lauderdale international Boat show, they are the ones that allowed our vessel to be unable to leave the marina.
I went on a morning cruise with my cousin and Captain Joe and Anthony made the experience absolutely amazing. In one boat ride we got a little tour of the waterfront mansions, did paddleboarding and some fantastic quality paddleboards and the paddle itself was really high quality. We then went kayaking, plunged around on the pads in the water and really had the most relaxing time. The total group wasn't big and we could have gone past another island, but we just had so much fun where we were, but we appreciated the flexibility.
This company is fantastic, great communication prior to boarding and once on board. I really hope I can get back to Miami so I can go out on their boat again.

Spirit of Lauderdale Sunset Cruise 🌅
Beautiful experience from start to finish! The Spirit of Lauderdale catamaran is spacious, smooth, and run by a crew that clearly loves what they do. Captain Jon and Mate Anthony kept things fun, friendly, and perfectly organized.
The cruise starts with a scenic ride through Fort Lauderdale’s marina, gliding past amazing mansions and yachts that look straight out of a movie. Once you reach open water, the breeze picks up — a little choppy at times, but nothing too rough — just enough to remind you you’re really sailing!
🥂 A champagne toast at sunset is included, and the onboard drinks are very reasonably priced ($5 for beer or wine, $1 for soda, water, and snacks). Everything was served cold and with a smile.
The sunset views were spectacular — golden skies reflecting off the ocean, city lights beginning to sparkle, and that perfect mix of calm and motion. Between the friendly crew, relaxing atmosphere, and gorgeous scenery, this is one of the best ways to end a day in Fort Lauderdale.
