Hi Kristen, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We take all reviews seriously, and we'd like to address your concerns with full transparency.

First, we want to clarify that what was recommended to you was not five fillings for five cavities. Our dentist provided you with a complete dental plan that included 1 filling for an existing cavity and 5 dental sealants as a preventive treatment — two very different procedures.

A filling is used to treat a tooth already affected by decay. A sealant, on the other hand, is a thin protective coating applied to healthy teeth to prevent cavities from forming in the future. Sealants are a completely non-invasive, preventive measure and are not a sign that something is wrong with your teeth.

We understand that dental terminology and treatment plans can sometimes be overwhelming, especially in a new environment, and it's possible that this distinction may not have been communicated as clearly as it should have been during your visit — for that, we sincerely apologize. However, we want to assure you that our recommendation was made entirely with your long-term oral health in mind, and everything was outlined in the dental plan provided to you.

We would never recommend unnecessary treatment to any patient. Our clinic has built its reputation on providing honest, high-quality dental care to both local and international patients, and we hold ourselves to the highest ethical standards.
