I like this place because for a couple of reasons and it's been my go to spot for years now, the people who help you here are very personable, it's always a pleasant interaction, they have choices of different types of professional grade automotive paint, including single stage if you're doing a larger job, the mixing system is on point as far as the color matching goes, and they have industrial paints for direct to metal applications as well, Thanks again personally to the owner for matching up this Audi paint code for me with his spectrometer, and for your exceptional customer service. I forgot to mention one thing, whatever you end up buying from here will be worth the price, you can't get quality paints like this at a lower rate anywhere else. I've tried the cheaper alternative touch up direct stuff on eBay/Amazon and to be honest it didn't match the color of my car at all. Highly recommended.

Thank you Chris for your business
Order straightened out
Well we got my original issue straightened out, Emily and the owner jumped right in and helped. Just a shipping issue, it happens. Yesterday my custom mixed order arrived, and while I haven't sprayed it out yet, the cap color seems spot on.
(apologies I can't seem to get back and delete or revise my original review)

Thank you, Bruce, for sharing your update! We're glad Emily and the owner could assist, and it's great to hear your custom order has arrived. We hope the results meet your expectations—let us know how it goes!
BEWARE! I received a shipping notice, but the carrier never received a package to deliver. It's been over a month. Hopefully they see this and respond, or I file a fraud claim.
UPDATE: I spoke with lovely person there named Emily who looked into it, and will get a replacement order shipped soon. Thank you. I'll update again when it arrives and increase star count!

Thank you Austin for the kind words!
I needed a can of a complicated Mazda pearl/metallic that a competitor tried twice to match and fell short of something I could blend in well. Auto Paint Depot nailed the color on the first try. They were also very helpful and communicated well through the process, which needed to be shipped out quickly. I would highly recommend them for any paint needs

I'm happy that we were able to supply you with everything you needed to do your first paint job properly and assist with any questions you had. Have a nice day!
The Auto Paint Depot provides true, caring customer service. Touch up paint was mixed while I waited by a superb staff. I had previously purchased paint online from TAPD and when I needed to make another purchase, a visit to Long Island this past weekend was the perfect reason to stop by in person. I am glad I did. What a great family owned, well stocked shop. Not only will I always purchase from TAPD, I will recommend them to anyone who needs auto paint and supplies.
