EVERY step of my move was easy and seamless with the great team at Smooth Move & Delivery. They truly live up to their name. I had to reschedule my move multiple times because of renovation delays and my sales consultant, Kasey was exceptional and attentive with all of my changes. On moving day, Roger, Pat, and Adonay completed my move, which included a third-floor walkup apartment, with efficiency and professionalism. My aunt recently used SM&D for her move, and she was just as pleased!
I had a very disappointing experience with Smooth Move & Delivery. During my move, my new 85-inch Samsung TV, which cost approximately $2,000, was damaged beyond repair. The company offered me a minor settlement for the damage. A piece of my wardrobe was also damaged, and the door no longer closes properly.
Overall, the damage to my belongings and the difficulty resolving these issues made this a very frustrating experience. Based on my experience, I would be hesitant to use this company again.
The entire process from our first phone call until the last piece of furniture was delivered and assembled to where it needed to be was fantastic. Should we need to move again we will definitely call smooth movers!

Hands down the BEST moving experience we’ve ever had! The entire crew was absolutely incredible from start to finish. They were professional, efficient, careful, friendly, and worked incredibly hard the entire time.
They treated all of our furniture and belongings with so much care, made sure everything was protected, and handled the entire move seamlessly. They were organized, fast without ever being careless, and somehow made what is normally a stressful day feel easy.
You can tell these guys take pride in what they do. They went above and beyond for us, had great attitudes the entire time, and genuinely exceeded our expectations in every way. We could not have asked for a better moving crew.
If you’re looking for movers, do not hesitate to hire them. We would recommend them to anyone and would 100% use them again. Truly a 10/10 experience- thank you for making our move such a great one!

We moved a 2 bedroom apartment locally within the Stamford area. Scheduling and communication leading up to the move was great. And the moving team was careful, efficient, and swift. We had a smooth move!
Great Service! Found a deal on a huge, 200lb item at Costco, but they had little inventory. Called Smooth Move and they scrambled to find a pickup window for that day or the next. Found one for THAT DAY! Can't say they could do that every time but it is nice to work with a company that goes the extra mile. Move was flawless and the movers were first rate and professional. USE THEM!!

Great experience with Smooth Move- from my initial call with Kasey, the thoroughness of the estimate, to the scheduling and team assigned- Oscar, Adonay and Tony, I highly recommend working with this company! The moving team arrived on time, worked efficiently and were so professional. They charge by the hour + truck/mileage, so we had everything packed and furniture disassembled to make it go quickly (though I believe they disassemble if needed). The crew moved everything with care, asking where things went and making sure not to damage walls or the items being moved. We ended up paying less than the estimate due to both the speed of the crew and some organization on our part. Thank you to Kasey and the moving team!
