On Saturday, March 28, 2026, we experience a plumbing emergency. Mark was at the house within minutes after our call to access our sewer line. Our home sewer line was blocked by sand and dirt. It appeared to be a line break under the home.
Because we received the firm’s referral from a friend who knows this type of work, quality of repairs, and integrity of billing, we moved ahead quickly as it was a job that couldn’t wait so we prepared ourselves to pay for the higher rates associated with off-hours, emergency work.
Mark and Brandon worked hard to locate our sewer line issues that became more complex as the home line damage began at the main/home connection. The Gemeente system had a break further up line and filled with garden sand and dirt. Neighbors were also experiencing sewer line drain issues. For us, we were the last connection at the lowest point of the line and the first home to have the line under the home completely fail. Rain had also contributed to the silt passing into a crack in the main line.
Because Brandon and Mark followed through with integrity on solutions, we highly recommend their firm. I give you this detail because, you can find a firm that will give you emergency response. However, it is wise with water and sewer systems to work with a firm that will focus on the greater issue that caused your problem. Since our home line repair, the Gemeente has cleaned, repaired, and replaced their parts of the line.
Thanks to Mark and Brandon by seeing the big picture, our sewer line is in full function and the Gemeente’s line is serving us instead of continuing to disrupt our line’s integrity.
