We cannot give Ray and Ray Jr enough stars. From the beginning to the end, both were honest, reliable and readily available. The process was seamless. Yes there were hiccups along the way (to be expected when renovating a 70 year old home), but they were always honest when a problem arose and how to go about fixing it with options and pricing. They took our 3 bed, 1 bath ranch and turned it into a 4 bed, 2.5 bath colonial. They said it would take 6-8 months to complete, we gutted the entire house, and it was exactly 7 months. I would use Ray and Ray Jr again and again. Good luck with your process and you will not regret your decision to go with Ray.

The Ray's were wonderful. They always picked up or returned our calls, returned emails/texts, was prompt, and communicated the entire renovation. They had a great work balance, with one another, respected our home, brought up concerns and worked on issues that arose with the same diligence as the planned work. They kept to their word and the price. If something came up that was extra, we spoke about it before the work was started. They started to feel like family after being here and we trust them completely. Their sub contractors and anyone recommended were a reflection of their work ethic as well. If we had concerns at any point in the project they always sat with us and went over it until we found a resolution. Thank you Ray and Ray! Their painter Mike, Marino and crew was excellent.

I am sure that there are other contractors out there that are good but I can't imagine there are any better than Ray Coleman. I have been using Ray for over 10 years now. The first job I gave him was over $100,000 dollars, new roof, new windows, siding, relocating my kitchen, new hardwood floors, crown molding & more. It was & still is my first house. I had never dealt with a contractor before Ray so I didn't know what to expect. Ray made the whole process so easy for me & my wife. He helped us with every step with the patience of a saint, even dealing with my mother in law. Ray's answer was always, no problem, when we made changes, add on's, weren't happy with something we picked, always no problem. I consider myself very lucky that after all the estimates I received from all the contractors I met with, I went with Ray. I still use Ray Coleman to this day & would not consider using anyone else, nor would my wife. If you decide to use someone else, good luck, if you decide to use Ray, take it from me, you won't need it. My kids call Ray and his son “Mr. Ray” and my kids would greet them each morning in excitement to see what Mr. Ray was working on.
They always cleaned up and made sure whoever was in the house left it clean. With a dormer, the roofs off your home, and in the middle of the winter that meant we had to stay elsewhere for a few weeks. Other families I knew who had this done were out for months or half the year. Ray did my kitchen over. I came out great and I love it. Ray was the only contractors who was upfront with me on costs for exactly what i wanted to have done. I also had an estimate the next day. I was great working with Ray, Ray Jr, and all the subcontractors. I would use Ray againg for any work i need done and would highly reccomened him.
