I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with this company was so disappointing that I feel others should know what happened. I took the day off work and drove in from another city for my scheduled sprinkler system installation. Once the crew began digging, I became concerned that the sprinkler heads, which were only being installed around the perimeter of my yard, wouldn’t provide adequate coverage to the center. I simply asked Eric if it would be possible to add one sprinkler head in the middle. Eric told me he would speak with his coworker and come back. When he returned, instead of explaining the options or discussing why it might not work, he immediately said, “We can’t do it. You’re asking too much. Find another company.” I was completely caught off guard. There was no attempt to have a conversation, offer an alternative solution, or explain the reasoning. When I tried to discuss it further, I was told he didn’t have enough time, was already running late, and that I should hire someone else. It wasn’t the fact that they couldn’t accommodate my request that bothered me—it was the way it was handled. Asking a question about the design of a system I’m paying for should never result in being dismissed and essentially fired as a customer. Good customer service means taking a few minutes to explain the situation and treating customers with respect, especially after they’ve rearranged their schedule and traveled for the appointment. The lack of professionalism, communication, and customer care was shocking. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this company.

Of the three sprinkler repair companies I contacted, Hessenauer was the only one to respond. They provided a date and time, and they arrived on schedule. They did a thorough inspection and fixed multiple problems for a reasonable cost. They are now my "go to" sprinkler repair company.

Eric was out today to repair 3 valves damaged by a lightning hit. Was on-time, communicated his arrival, and clearly explained the problem. Very professional. Emma also was a pleasure to deal with when making the appointment. Will definitely use them again.

We had the company come out 3 times to repair our sprinkler system with specific knowledge that our lake intake pipe was likely the problem. The Hessenauer technician didn’t think so, and proceeded to make a $600 repair only to then realize it was the lake intake. Next they tried to find the lake piping and between 3 “experienced” techs couldn’t find it after 5 hours. This was another $750 with 0 result. We were then quoted $4300 to lay a whole new line as the only next option. The next day I sent my two teen boys to dig and within 1 hour we found the line. Really unimpressed and I would give 1 start for the experience but they are very personable.

Could not have worked with a better team. They came out, heard what I wanted, then validated that it was needed, and gave me a quote. They did a lot of repairs on my old system and it is up and running again. I could not have been more impressed with their timeliness, professionalism, and attention to my specific needs as an old home. I will use them again when needed.

I was impressed with Hessenauer Irrigation. Jay did a great job replacing an old irrigation clock. He didn't stop there, he checked each of my 4 zones and replaced a few heads that needed to be replaced. I'm saving their contact info and will definitely use them next time I need any work done!

All I can say Emma is a peach super nice lady Jim came out and sorted all my sprinkler problems and even arranged the old sprinklers so they would not spray out on the new patio.
