As our 250 celebration approaches for America, we are thrilled about the fact the Pony Express connected the country with communication, even more excited to say, "we carried the letter telling CA not to succeed from the union. Glad it was found to be a wonderful experience.

Love to have horses however, the insurance is not so happy about that idea. History is the story you can tell as you leave the museum and that is our goal everyday
Always a great visit. They constantly update & improve. The latest improvement was installing an electronic screen for video presentations on the Event Center. Check them out for your next event or meeting!

Much bigger than it looks from the outside. Very informative. Offers movie with interesting detail. Some interactive displays for children. Gift and souvenir shop. Exceptionally clean bathrooms.

Glad the facility was received so well. Two years ago, we did a 32-year renovation to the admission bathrooms. Big project but great results for visitors. The Pony Express Stables (Pony Express Museum today) have had two additions in 1993 and 2005. Used same brick in 1993 to match the original ones. The Board was great ones to keep it historical correct.
A really cool museum on the history of the Pony Express! We didn't originally have this on our itinerary but decided to stop when we had some time to fill and I'm so glad we did. The museum is packed with info using unique and interactive exhibits. There is a fun scavenger hunt game for the kids and a really cool children's area. Don't pass up this museum if you're in St. Joe!

Design years ago, was to have a children friendly facility, with great exhibits to tell the Pony Express story. The many ways to learn, discover and explore are here for young and young at heart.
