I definitely recommend Nava if you are looking to get your scuba open water certification. They are all very professional, patient and super knowledgeable. I had so many moments when I felt scared and I found support in my instructor Sunny. He patiently explained everything over and over again until it stuck and I feel so proud to have done this. The other instructors are awesome too.
Had a great time doing the PADI open water course. Sonni, the dive instructor was very knowledgeable and patient. He made sure to follow up on everyone on the course ensuring we made the most of each dive. The wider team at Nava was also very attentive and helpful. Would highly recommend this place for anyone in Koh Tao looking for a great dive experience!
Kleiner diveshop mit netten Leuten und einem hohen Sicherheitsstandard beim Tauchen. Das war's dann aber leider auch schon.
War einen Tag von 6:30 bis 20:30 Uhr tauchen und außer einer kleine Mahlzeit und Ananas keine Verpflegung erhalten. Das Boot ist bedürftig, Algen im Wasserspender, keine Toiletten Spülung oder Klopapier.
Habe einen Weiterbildungs Kurs gemacht. Hier gab es keine Theorie außer dem padi online Training. Ansonsten wirklich nur die äußerst nötigen Informationen. Generell keine Infos darüber ob und wann man Nitrox Tanks oder anderes Equipment bekommen kann.
Alles in allem in Ordnung, bei der großen Konkurrenz, finde ich könnte es etwas mehr Service sein.

We apologize to hear that the experience doesn’t meet your expectations and thank you for your kind feedback. However, we also would like to use this opportunity to clarify some of the experience.
Regarding the boat facilities, as part of a marine conservation policy, there is no tissue paper on board to reduce trash as the boat uses a marine toilet. (It flushes everything into the compartment which will then release to the ocean.) We take note on the complaint on the dispenser and will check and fix the issue.
We currently only offer lunch at the dive center, not breakfast or dinner. It’s the only complimentary meal as part of the service. The boat itself only has snacks and drinks. We appreciate your feedback and will see if we can further offer more meals to some divers doing longer dives.
The refresher course use PADI quick review as a criteria to identify which part should be covered and then follow up with a confined water skill refresher. It’s not intended to cover any full theory unless particularly requested for.
We take comments seriously and will reach out to you directly on the situation with equipment availability and what we can do to improve that.

Eu e o meu namorado fizemos o Open Water Padi Course e adorámos! Andámos à procura da melhor escolha de mergulho a partir das reviews que lemos no Maps e escolhemos a NAVA Scuba Diving.
O nosso instrutor Sunny foi incrível, muito paciente connosco, lecionou toda a matéria de forma calma e perceptível para quem não tinha conhecimento nenhum sobre mergulho.
Em todos os mergulhos sentimo-nos seguros e aprendemos muitas skills debaixo de água. Durante os dias do curso temos direito a almoço. O barco de apoio é espaçoso, limpo e toda a equipa é atenciosa. O barco tem casa de banho, água, cafe, bolachas e fruta para matar a fome entre mergulhos e no final.
De forma complementar, temos de fazer a parte online do curso, onde existem diferentes videos e matéria de estudo dividida em capítulos e com perguntas no final de cada um.
Recomendamos a escola NAVA a qualquer pessoa que deseja fazer um curso PADI.

Wir haben Anfang November den PADI Open Water Diver gemacht. 3 Tage, 4 offizielle Tauchgänge. Wir waren zu viert und hatten am ersten Tag zwei Lehrer und die anderen beiden nur noch einen. Unser Tauchlehrer Tao war super angenehm, konnte gut englisch, gut erklären und ist immer geduldig geblieben. Die Atmosphäre bei Nava ist super und wir kommen gerne wieder zum Tauchen.
Amazing experience with Sunny and Tao to complete our 3-day Padi Open Water Course.
Relaxed, calm and supportive throughout.
Enjoyable from start to finish, highly recommend!

We passed the Open water certification at this dive shop and it was simply amazing ! Robin is PROBABLY the best dive instructor in Koh Tao, maybe even the whole Thailand !! We were really cared for, the boat was never crowded, the schedule was perfect even though it was tight, and the dives were incredible ! Thank you to the whole Nava team for having us and especially to Robin for guiding us through this adventure !

We completed our PADI Open Water course with Nava Scuba and had an amazing experience. The instructors were friendly, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. 15 stars out of 5!!! I did a 16 fun dive package for a very reasonable price. Everyone at the shop is spectacular, extremely knowledgeable, fun and social. The dive shop itself has a very relaxed atmosphere and I felt very welcome to hang out there before and after diving. Special thanks to Clara and Sunny who gave me great advise regarding my buoyancy. I've left feeling like a much more skilled and confident diver. An even bigger shout out to my friend Sea! She is an excellent guide and very funny. I couldn't have asked for a better dive buddy!! She was even kind enough to give me a ride to my hotel on the last day so special thanks for that!
If your looking to learn I'd recommend this dive shop too, the team are great!
