I had the best experience shopping at Loulette! Like many others, I was going in with anxiety about the whole shopping experience, especially because I knew I didn't want a white dress and I wasn't sure about feeling the pressure once in a bridal salon. Sophia was absolutely incredible! She got my vision right away and was so supportive and kind throughout the experience; she even helped me try on two different dresses at the same time so I could picture the bodice of one with a skirt of another. It also felt so affirming and relaxing to know I could try on different samples even as someone who's plus sized!
I really couldn't have asked for a better experience at a store that is so focused on sustainability and living up to their values!! So happy Loulette is here in Brooklyn and so excited to see my custom dress!

The absolute best experience! Sophia was an incredible host and made me feel so comfortable and at ease with the try on process. She pulled looks and walked me through all the details of each piece with great knowledge.
Upon my request to come back and try on my options one more time before making a decision, she was responsive and quick to help get me another appointment. She and Nedim were so encouraging with my final choice and I can’t wait for it all to come together!

Absolutely loved my experience with Sophia at Loulette and ended up finding my dream dress here! Since it was my first bridal appointment ever, Sophia had me try on 8-10 dresses of different cuts, styles, and materials to help the both of us figure out what I liked and didn’t like. She made sure to ask really supportive questions to limit any overwhelming feelings while still making decisions on what I ultimately loved. The dresses are all SO beautiful and lightweight. The materials are comfortable yet still feel structured, and they’re all natural materials that overall feel better than your typical wedding dresses. Sophia was amazing with how she could envision different changes to dresses based on my feedback and altered them on the spot so that I could see it too. She wasn’t pushy or demanding and even encouraged me to attend my second appointment elsewhere to make sure I was confident in my choice. In the end I couldn’t stop thinking of the dress that I loved and ended up returning to pick my custom dress. It was the smoothest experience and I’m so excited to return for my first fitting. I highly recommend Loulette and more specifically Sophia, as she was just the sweetest soul and truly made me feel comfortable.

My experience with Loulette was incredible!! I went to a handful of other boutiques and honestly nothing compared to the level of detail and materials at Loulette. As someone who's anxious about having a day all about me, Sophia at Loulette made me feel so at ease. I found my perfect dress there and it makes me all the more excited for the big day! I also love how mindful Loulette is in their manufacturing and materials for an environmental / social perspective — it was an easy yes!

As a gender non-conforming person I thought that "bridal" shopping was going to be an exercise in patience but Sophia made me feel seen, comfortable, and understood from moment one. I loved getting to play, try on, explore, and ultimately design my wedding outfit just the way I wanted it. My friends and I had the best time

The team at Loulette is amazing. Sophia was so knowledgeable and made the entire experience welcoming, fun and relaxed. I have been to bridal appointments for friends and family and was dreading going through the process myself because it always felt high pressure and stuffy experience, but this was not the case at Loulette. You’re the only person there, and it’s very relaxed. Sophia was able to help me find the perfect outfit that fit my personality and I loved the fact that the possibilities for customizations / mixing and matching were endless! They are truly a one of a kind bridal boutique that I would recommend to anyone!

Had the BEST experience trying on dresses at Loulette... and ended up saying yes to the dress here!
I grew up in the same town as owner Marteal and have loved watching her journey building Loulette.
Getting to see it in person and experience it first hand was a whole other level though.
When I put the first dress on, I knew I'd want my dress to be Loulette. After trying on other dresses at other stores, these dresses felt different. Everything felt so good on my body -- something I'd be excited to wear for a long day + dance all night in as opposed to horror stories I've heard from friends about how they couldn't dance in their dress because it was so heavy and uncomfortable.
Everything can be customized, whether you want to mix and match a top from one and the bottom from other. I went back a second time to finalize my decision and ended up changing the fabric I'm ordering my dress in. It's cool to think my dress will be truly unique to me.
On top of all of this, I love what Loulette stands for and couldn't be more excited to support them. Sustainability, equality, dresses for ALL people, genders and sizes.
Truly thrilled to be a Loulette bride... and am SO excited for my dress!

I had an amazing time at Loulette! It was the first place I looked. Being plus sized/LBGT/not all that girly I was super nervous, but Sophia made me feel so comfortable. I ended up trying a few other places and not only was the experience much better at Loulette, but the quality was far superior to anything else I tried on. They encourage you to touch the fabrics when you’re there and you can really feel the quality. I kept comparing everywhere else to the Loulette and ended up coming back to purchase the very first gown I had tried on. Could not recommend this enough for plus size, LGBT, and those with sensory issues like myself. I can’t wait to wear my gown knowing how confident and comfortable I’m going to be on my big day! Thank you Sophia and the whole Loulette team!

My time at Loulette was amazing. My mom and I came in looking for a wedding dress for me and we left with a dress picked out that I am so excited to wear! My experience with Loulette has been incredible! I'm so excited to see my dress in person. I found dress shopping in general to be overwhelming, but Sophia was so great. I said yes to the dress! Sophie was so lovely answering all my questions and anxieties lol. And even more amazing at making me feel at ease, as a plus size bride I was so nervous about wedding dress shopping and the minute I walked in I felt seen and taken care of. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Loulette and Sophia, my bridal stylist. I was really anxious and apprehensive to try on dresses and Loulette was my first stop. Sophia made me feel taken care of and beautiful and was really on my team. Loulette is lucky to have her.
The designs are gorgeous and fun and I didn’t have to worry about things I loved not coming in my size. Can’t wait to be a #realloulettebride!

Blown away. Not only did I find the dress of my dreams, I found the bridal shop of my dreams! Loulette checks all the boxes - small, woman-owned, local business; sustainable and eco-friendly; beautiful studio space; one of a kind gowns and endless variety made for everybody... what else could you want? I had so much fun at my appointment thanks to Jillian. Not only does she know her stuff, but she makes you and your guests feel so special and at ease. She was so helpful in guiding me through so many different styles. I ended up choosing a gown that is so different than what I thought I was going to like, and I couldn't be happier that Jillian nudged me out of my comfort zone. I am so excited to wear my dress at my wedding this summer and wish Loulette made every day clothes so I'd have an excuse to go back allll the time. Thank you Jillian, and thank you Loulette!
UPDATE - our wedding was two weeks ago and I can't even describe how perfect my dress was day-of - not only did I feel beautiful and confident, I felt unique and special thanks to this one-of-a-kind dress! I got so many comments and compliments, and everyone was so into the champagne color, lace details, fabric quality and just the way it moved! It fit the beachy venue perfectly - the fabric was durable without being heavy, and it handled the rocky/sandy terrain without a snag. It even looked perfect when bustled. And... it photographed so well! I can't stop looking at the pictures and ogling over my own dress. Can't recommend Loulette enough - from fitting to wedding day and beyond, this experience has been everything I wanted and more.

I could not have asked for a better experience than working with Loulette for my wedding attire. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and I felt throughout the selection and fitting process that they truly cared about and listened to what I hoped to feel on my wedding day. I felt (and looked) like an ethereal fairy, which was 100% the vibe I hoped for. After my final fitting, Marteal gifted me a sketch of my final bridal look, which I cannot wait to frame. I wish I had a reason to go back and do it all over again, it was that special. I wholeheartedly recommend Loulette for anyone looking for something different and wholly their own on their wedding day.

I’m so grateful I found Sanna! After being turned down by two seamstresses who weren’t comfortable altering my halter-style wedding dress, a friend referred me to her and I’m so glad she did.
Sanna was incredibly sweet and welcoming from the start, and the store is so cute! I had three appointments with her, and she never once expressed concern about the style, she just got to work and made it perfect. She also altered my mom’s wedding dress for me to wear to my rehearsal dinner, and both dresses turned out beautifully.
She was also super accommodating with my schedule, always finding time at the end of the day so I could come after work. I truly enjoyed the whole experience and couldn’t recommend her more!
10/10 recommend!!
