McCrae is an exceptional salesperson. He was kind and attentive to my clients requests. And even after closing when there were a few items that needed to be looked he made sure they were taken care of. LongLake is a great builder but McCrae was hands down one of the best salespeople I have worked with in the industry!

The champions Oak has the worst HOA I have ever dealt with! They do not enforce their street parking restrictions that we had to sign when we closed escrow and they continue to ghost after repeated emails and calls for them to enforce their rules! We pay over 1,000 dollars for dues and we don’t need that to go for cutting the grass in the common areas! We don’t even have a club house or pool! Do your job! Both cars haven’t moved in 3 months! Not working- the black one was towed here and put on the street!

Judith,
We understand your frustrations with the HOA when you feel your community’s rules aren’t being consistently enforced. Many of us deal with our own.

While we’re not in a position to speak on behalf of the HOA or its enforcement decisions, we will relay the concern and encourage residents to continue working directly with the HOA regarding specific violations and requests for enforcement.

Again, we do want to clarify that this review is regarding the HOA, rather than Long Lake Home Builders.

Your feedback is appreciated, and we'll all work to get the matter resolved.

Marie Morgan 2026.07.29

One of the worst communities I have ever experienced. The neighborhood is very poorly maintained, with fallen trees, old stumps, and excessive overgrowth throughout common areas. Garbage is frequently left behind by the food trucks that regularly park in the community, creating an unsightly environment. Despite paying extremely high HOA dues, the only recent amenity is a very small, shallow pool that provides little value to residents. The landscaping throughout the community is in unacceptable condition, and the current HOA management company has failed to properly address ongoing maintenance concerns. Purchasing a home in this community was a significant mistake, and I regret relying on my realtor's recommendation. I would strongly encourage prospective buyers to thoroughly evaluate the community's condition, HOA management, and maintenance standards before making a decision.

We understand your frustrations with the HOA when you feel your community’s rules aren’t being consistently enforced. Many of us deal with our own.

While we’re not in a position to speak on behalf of the HOA or its maintenance decisions, we encourage residents to continue working directly with Crest Management, the community’s HOA management company, regarding landscaping, common-area maintenance, tree removal, and other community concerns. Crest Management can be reached at 281-945-4618.

Again, we do want to clarify that this review is regarding the HOA, rather than Long Lake Home Builders.

Crest Management has indicated that Conroe has strict tree-preservation requirements that can limit when certain trees may be removed, while dead trees are addressed as necessary. We appreciate you bringing your concerns forward and hope continued communication with the HOA helps lead to a positive resolution for the community.

Your feedback is appreciated, and we'll all work to get the matter resolved.
