I have naturally coily, curls and was having trouble finding a hair stylist who could give me a nice, stylish shape until I found Leslie. She is warm, down to earth with a welcoming personality and has curly hair too! I finally found my person for hair cuts. Leslie gave me a beautiful shape for my face and a cut that works with my curls. I already scheduled my next appointment.

Leslie is the best! I started seeing her years ago after searching for a curly hair specialist, and my 2C/3A hair has never looked better! Having loose curls means that my hair can get weighed down really easily, but I’m always so happy after leaving the salon knowing my curls will remain bouncy until the next appointment. I’ve gotten highlights done by her before as well, and they always look incredible. As a plus, she gives you the option to change out of your shirt and into a robe so that you don’t find little hairs stuck inside your shirt for the rest of the day. You can tell she genuinely cares about her clients’ health and happiness and always treats her coworkers with respect. I’m so, so grateful that I found her five years ago, and I’m looking forward to being a customer as long as I’m in NYC!

Leslie is the best for curly hair. She can make a few snips and the shape is exactly right. She cuts it dry which is the correct way but most don't. Highly recommend!

For a while I didn't realize I had curly hair but Leslie revived my curls and they have never looked better! I've been seeing her every 3-4 months to maintain and my hair has been so healthy. Highly recommend! Especially if you know you have some texture to your hair but need a curly cut to bring it out.
