C'était assez bien dans l'ensemble. Comparé à d'autres club de plongée c'est moyen. Les bémols : Théo n'a pas été très à l'écoute de mes besoins, pas très chaleureux et avenant enfin je me suis senti comme un simple porte monnaie ambulant. Ce qui n'est pas agréable du tout. Néanmoins merci à Mandy pour son accompagnement et d'avoir pris en compte mes besoins même si j'aurais préféré qu'on prenne plus en compte mon souhait de nager plus longuement avec les tortues et moins de regarder longuement les coraux. Je retiens que le fait d'avoir beaucoup d'avis client ne garantit pas la qualité d'un service.

Merci d’avoir pris le temps de laisser un avis. Nous sommes ravis que vous ayez apprécié l’accompagnement de Mandy, même si l'expérience n’a pas totalement répondu à vos attentes.
Nous souhaitons toutefois apporter quelques précisions importantes. Vous aviez réservé une sortie à la journée en groupe et demandé des informations sur la location d’une GoPro et la possibilité que le guide réalise une séance photo. Nous vous avons expliqué que cela n’était pas possible en plongée de groupe (1 guide pour 4 plongeurs), mais que cela pouvait être organisé avec un guide privé, moyennant un supplément ( le tarif pour le guide privé et location de la Go pro on était expliquer) . Il est important que les autres clients puissent profiter de leur plongée et non être simplement présent lors de votre séance photo.
Vous n’avez pas réservé ce service sur place. Plus tard, via WhatsApp, vous avez demandé un guide privé sans mentionner la séance photo/ location de la Go pro. Un autre membre de l’équipe a donc ajouté uniquement le guide privé ( nous sommes deux à répondre sur whatsapp) . Lors du check-in, la veille de la sortie, vous avez demandé la location de la Go pro gratuitement, ce que nous avons poliment refusé. Vous avez alors souhaité annuler la sortie pour chercher un centre proposant ce service gratuitement. L’annulation était hors délai malheureusement (dernière minute), nous avons retiré le supplément du guide privé pour revenir à votre réservation initiale.

Mi pareja y yo hicimos el curso Advanced OW y Nitrox de PADI contratando 2 días (1 noche) en el Similian Quest liveaboard. Fue una experiencia increíble. Antes de ir teníamos algunas dudas sobre como sería la experiencia de la vida en el barco la verdad, fue un acierto, muy recomendable. Las instalaciones, la comida, la interacción con otros compañeros, la tripulación, el equipo,... nos arrepentimos de no quedarnos más. Los puntos de buceo también fueron increíbles (recomendamos si podeis ir a Richelieu rock).
Queremos hacer una mención especial y merecida a Alina, nuestra instructora. Fue profesional, atenta, paciente y encantadora. Sólo tenemos palabras de agradecimiento para ella. Las explicaciones, consejos y ayuda tanto dentro como fuera del agua fueron dignas de reconocimiento. Gracias Alina. Ha sido un placer y un honor que fuera nuestra instructora 😊.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dive with Khao Like Explorers! We were taken care of despite a bit of a last minute request, and everything was super clear and processed through a quick and smooth turnaround. The French man I was in touch with was available at all times to answer my questions and make sure the process and needs are understood. Then, with Billy, one guide for us two divers (which is always reassuring when still a beginner), we had the best views of the area surrounding Koh Bon and he made sure we were always fine and seeing what there is too see. patience and good vibes summarise our experience. PS: we took a speed boat to reach a liveaboard where food and drinks were served, including an excellent and varied meal that we will keep in our memories along with the rest!!

Would recommend this dive shop for its excellent team and communication. I was nervous about diving after a break from it and they were really helpful and led fun and safe dives.

My Rechelieu Rock diving daytrip was amazing. Their service was very well-organized from the registration. The online communication was very smooth as well. My private guide Alina was very professional, polite and responsible. She showed me many interesting marine creatures. In addition, she speaks very good Chinese. No worries for people from China if they choose to be in a group with Alina. There would be no language barriers. Similan is beautiful and I will come again in the future.

Wir können das Khao Lak Explorer Dive Center sehr empfehlen. Hier steht ein perfektes und gut organisiertes Team dahinter.
Vom Transfer zum Pier bis hin zur Rückfahrt hat alles gut geklappt.
Wir wurden mit dem speed boot zu einem Liveaboard , das vor vor Koh Bon ankerte gebracht. Dort gab es ein kleines Frühstück,
ein ausführliches Briefing und genug Platz und
Zeit um den Tauchgang in Ruhe vorzubereiten.
Maxime unser Tauchguide war einfach spitze.
Er hat mit seiner ruhigen und entspannten Art sehr dazu beigetragen, dass wir unsere Tauchgänge genießen konnten. Er war sofort mit einer helfenden Hand zur Stelle, lange bevor wir überhaupt wussten dass es nötig war.
Die Diveside Koh Bon (Similian Inseln) war sehr schön. Wir sind in kleinen Gruppen jeweils zu
viert getaucht. Nach dem ersten Tauchgang wurde ein leckeres Mittagessen serviert das von der Köchin des Liveaboards frisch für alle gekocht wurde. Wasser, Kaffee, Tee waren inclusive. Weitere Getränke konnte man zu einem fairen Preis dazukaufen. Nach dem zweiten Tauchgang gab es Obst, Kekse und weitere Snacks. In unserem nächsten Urlaub werden wir auf jeden Fall wieder mir dem Khao Lak Explorer Divers tauchen.
Für uns war es perfekt, dass wir in der wunderschönen Villa Colina, die der Tauchbasis angegliedert ist, übernachten konnten.
Sollte jemand hier seinen Tauchschein machen oder erweitern wollen, ist dies die perfekte Location dafür. Zur Villa Colina haben wir eine extra Rezension geschrieben.

We dived Similan Islands with Khao Lak Explorers. The trip was very well organised and the equipment was excellent. We dived with Isabella who was one of the best guides we have ever had. Just returned from a 3D2N Liveaboard in the Similan and Surin Islands. It was amazing! Easy to book and great communications with Khao Lak Explorers. Comfortable boat and room, great food (and lots of it), awesome marine life and a huge thank you to our dive guide Seb for finding us sharks, mantas and many, many more things. A superb trip!

The best diving center in Khao Lak! I had 6 amazing dives in two days, liveboard was so great! Isabella is a wonderful dive master, so nice and friendly 🫶🏼 I'll miss her!!

Great dives with Khao Lak explorer! Did a 2D/1N trip to the Similians, and was kinda nervous (I’m a pretty newbie diver) but had a great experience with both Andrea and Eva as my dive guides. They were both very patient with me, and helped me develop more confidence as a diver! And the underwater landscapes were, of course, fantastic.

Très belle expérience avec la croisière 2 jours/ 1 nuit. 6 magnifiques plongées avec Mod qui nous a appris plein de nouvelles choses sur le monde marin. Merci aussi à Théo pour l'organisation de notre séjour et autres activités. On part avec plein d'étoiles dans les yeux!

Amazing day of diving in the Similan Islands! Everything was perfectly organized, with quality equipment and a great atmosphere. A special thanks to my dive guide, Isabella — friendly, attentive, and very professional. Despite the strong current, she made sure we could safely enjoy these incredible dive sites.

Super friendly and great service! Very clear information from the beginning to end. My dive instructor Isabella was the best! I was lucky to have a private dive with her. She was very attentive and showed me so many fish and different sea creature species. We even saw a turtle :). Can highly recommend!

Spent 3 days and 2 nights on the boat, diving 10 times – and honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The organization was super professional, but what really made it special were the people. I got to dive with different instructors (Mod, Mickey & Isabella ❤️) and groups, which helped me improve my skills a lot in such a short time.
The boat crew was incredibly welcoming and always ready to help, the food was next-level good, and the cabins were clean and had AC – definitely a nice place to recharge after a long day of diving.
As for the Similan Islands? Absolutely breathtaking. One dive you’re surrounded by massive rock formations, the next you’re drifting over vibrant coral reefs – pure magic.
This trip will stay with me forever, and I can’t recommend it enough!
