I’ve just come off the phone to one of the most helpful people I’ve ever spoke to. I’ve spent 10 minutes with a guy called Trevor. He explained exactly how to fit the new engine. How to buy the new engine and what new engine to buy? I’ve never had such excellent customer service from such a helpful man while chatting we discussed the world of discounts. Trevor explained it’s very hard to discount when the price is what it is but for the sake of having such excellent service such excellent help and the guarantee if I ring for help he will help me further what’s £10 in life? I could’ve saved £10 but not had the help no add on costs just a great price. I would 100% recommend 100% use again, thank you very much indeed John. Trevor is the star of the day in my world. Thank you

Arrogant staff, very cocksure of themselves and not very customer facing. I was going to purchase from you but given your sales are terrible so I shall go elsewhere! If your sales are this bad, I hate to think what aftersales is like.

Did not know places like this still existed in the UK, phoned about a part, in my technically clueless way talked to a real person who asked a couple of questions, yes we have some in stock. When I got there they checked the old part against the new one, turned out I bought the machine there 15 years ago. How is that for after sales service even gave me advice on fuel A🌟 service.

It must be over 30yrs since I bought my first petrol lawnmower from GLC and I wouldn’t shop anywhere else. The team took the time to listen to my needs as I was looking for a petrol mower (self propelled). The guidance and knowledge from the team for my (large) garden was well received and I think I’am onto my third Mountfield Self propelled mower now. Even when I hit a stone in the garden (by mistake) the team collected the lawnmower and repaired within a few days. I would definitely recommend a visit.

Great company. I've never visited them, never needed to as I've dealt with them either via their website, or by telephone for advice. Advice which is plentiful and freely given I would also add. I did, in fact, spend just over 25 minutes on the phone with them just this afternoon discussing various mower related topics which didn't result in a sale, but I did receive plenty of useful advice. I must also add that the lack of the chance of a sale was evident about 5 or 10 minutes into this telephone call, but nonetheless I was still treated like someone who was not a time waster but a valued customer. A refreshing gem of a company in this modern world of disinterested and sometimes downright rude customer service representatives. I can only wish them well and assue them of my continued custom.

Fantastic service - can't recommend highly enough. I ordered the wrong part for my mower, and the lady I rang was extremely helpful, finding the right part and allowing me a refund on the part I'd ordered incorrectly. Plus, they hold the record for speed of delivery - getting an order from England to Shetland in under 24 hours door to door is impressive.
