Feature wall project was led by Sir Song. Overall experience was good throughout the process till completion. There was some problems during the installation, however, all these errors were rectified promptly which is the most important.

We engaged JS for our kitchen renovation for the second time, and once again had a great experience. From the start, Qing Yun guided us clearly through the process, setting realistic timelines—and even completing the project 2–3 days ahead of schedule. Although we were only redoing the sink and stove area, the scope felt like a full kitchen overhaul. Qing Yun took the time to understand our needs and offered thoughtful suggestions—her recommendation to go with grey cabinet shelves instead of white turned out to be a standout decision. We also had a complex countertop requirement, Qing Yun and the JS carpentry team impressed us with a smart and well-executed solution. Across all teams—from masonry, carpentry to plumbing—the common thread was professionalism, punctuality, and dedication. We would like to thank JS Carpentry and Caroline for renovating our new home. Initially we’ve presented a challenging timeline of only 2 months (including CNY hols) to do an almost complete overhaul of an old apartment. Most IDs found it difficult to meet the timeline but Caroline and the team are willing to commit into it. Works started swiftly once the keys were collected, and we were impressed by the speed and efficiency of how everything was completed smoothly. Though there were minor hicups, Caroline promptly arranged workers to fix the issues without much question. I like how they are committed to delivering a home that we’ll be happy and satisfied with. We would recommend the team to anyone that is looking for a reliable contractor for their new home.

Writing this after engaging JS a second time. Guests gave good comments on the workmanship and thus the decision. Same coordinator Benny, but I noticed an increase in price, which is the reality everywhere. Workmanship aside, I like the hassle-free experience the most. WhatsApp requirements, receive drawing, confirm drawings, fix date for works, install complete, pay balance. New full length wall cabinet with fold out bed done without lifting a finger. Recommended for busy executives whose time is precious.

We were introduced to Nicholas Tan from JS Carpentry through a colleague’s recommendation, and we are glad we went with him as our main contractor. Nicholas is easy to communicate with and on the ball when it comes to coordination across different parties. Despite various site limitations and budget constraints, he was able to work around the challenges and make the renovation come together smoothly. He also went the extra mile to offer practical recommendations on FF&E, which helped us make better decisions along the way. Most importantly, he delivered on his promise. The house was handed over on time, allowing us to move in as planned. This stood out to us, especially after speaking to other firms who made commitments they could not fulfil. Defect rectification was handled promptly and without unnecessary back and forth, which made the post-renovation process much less stressful. We would recommend JS Carpentry to homeowners looking for a reliable and down-to-earth main contractor who takes ownership and sees the project through properly.

I had the pleasure of working with Wei Wei as the project manager for my mini renovation over the past two months, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Wei Wei and her team handled a wide range of works with impressive efficiency and quality — from the lift lobby built-in cabinet, kitchen cabinetry, parquet floor polishing (expedited and very well done), to marble floor regrouting and polishing that now has an almost mirror-like shine. They also executed my 3.5-metre floor-to-ceiling hallway mirror beautifully, along with several other works. Every detail was thoughtfully managed. What truly sets Wei Wei apart is her wonderful customer service and positive attitude. She was always sincere in her advice, patient in explaining options, and proactive in suggesting better solutions rather than just following instructions blindly. Her coordination was seamless, timelines were well managed, and communication was clear throughout the project. There were also several aspects where she genuinely exceeded my expectations, going the extra mile to ensure the final result looked right and felt right — not just “done”. If you’re looking for a project manager who is reliable, professional, and truly cares about the quality of her work and the client’s experience, I would highly recommend Wei Wei and her team. 👍
