Unbelievable service, professionalism, competence and speed/efficiency from JP Urban. My second time using them, and customer for life. Shah and Alfredo (in charge) plus Felix and Eddie (subbing in) were with me most of the day. Set me up with additional storage at a very good price. Handled a long, local Brooklyn to Manhattan move with great care. Thank you all!!

“Customer for life” means so much to us—thank you for trusting JP Urban Moving a second time! We’re glad we could arrange the additional storage you needed at a great price. Between your Brooklyn-to-Manhattan move, storage, and disposal needs, there were plenty of details to coordinate, and Shah, Alfredo, Felix, and Eddie will appreciate knowing their hard work and care made such a difference. Thank you for taking the time to recognize the team!
It was a pleasant moving experience, especially since moving can be very stressful. The entire process was very professional, attentive, and very detail oriented. On the day of the move the guys led by Ronny were professional, efficient, and helpful. It took approximately 6 hours to help pack and move into two places. I would highly recommend this company and I also did much research before choosing them. The price was reasonable and did not feel like I was nickel and dimed. Price came in at the low end of the range that I was quoted.

Stacie, we appreciate the research you put into choosing JP Urban Moving and the trust you placed in us. Packing and coordinating a local move to two locations takes careful planning, so it’s great to hear Ronny and the crew kept everything organized and made the day easier for you. We’re also glad your final price landed at the low end of your estimate and that you felt fairly charged throughout. Thank you for your thoughtful recommendation!
I have trauma from prior movers and JP Urban proved it doesn’t have to be the way. The movers were quick, the whole process incredibly efficient and despite lugging stuff up and down still considerate enough to ask me if I wanted a chair to sit on. If you’re looking for movers, do not look further!

Carmen, thank you for giving JP Urban Moving your trust after difficult experiences with other movers. We’re glad our crew made moving day feel easier, and your mention of the chair made us smile. Taking a moment to make sure you’re comfortable matters just as much as working efficiently and handling your belongings with care. Thank you for recommending our moving team!
Thank you JP Urban Moving for another extraordinary move!
I even recognized Mannuel from my previous move in 2020 with you!
The Team worked seamlessly together, they are experienced and worked at record pace. We had 2 pickups and 1 drop off and completed well before expected timing!
If I could give 10 star rating I would, theyre definitely in diamond league!
Thank you for making this process exponentially easier than expected!

Penny, thank you for choosing JP Urban Moving again! We were happy to arrange for familiar faces from your 2020 move to help you again. Whenever scheduling allows, we try to reunite returning clients with their previous crew. Having team members who have been with us for a decade makes that possible, and it’s lovely to know you remembered Manuel!
We’re glad your in-state move, with two pickups and one drop-off, went smoothly and finished ahead of expectations. Your “diamond league” compliment will mean a lot to the team. Thank you for putting your trust in us again!

Highly recommend, they did a move for me from NYC to Maine and were very easy to work with and transparent through the process. Miguel and team were both very fast and meticulous in their work, and even my most fragile items were treated with care and arrived completely unharmed.
Most want to emphasize how much I appreciated the transparency of the pricing and honesty through the process -- I feel like every company in New York I interact with normally is always angling to throw in some trick or surprise to jack up the prices, but to my great satisfaction JP Urban Moving completed my job a bit under the original quote, and well under the cap on the estimate which many less scrupulous companies would find a way to hit.
All that, and they were a very fair price, the other companies I reached out to that were in a similar tier of very-good-reviews quoted about 1-3k more.
All in all - highly recommend!

Thank you for trusting JP Urban Moving with your long-distance move from NYC to Maine! Planning an interstate move is a big undertaking, and we’re glad our transparent pricing helped you feel confident throughout the process. Coming in below your original estimate made for a great finish, too. Miguel and the crew will appreciate your recognition of the care they took with your fragile belongings. We’re grateful for your recommendation and hope you’re settling in well in Maine!
Move was affordable, easy on me, and the team was efficient and professional. Best movers I've used in NYC.

Thank you, Bryan! You deserve some credit for how smoothly the day went, too. Marking the items that weren’t moving with blue tape X’s was a thoughtful touch, and your preparation helped our crew get straight to work. Being called the best movers you’ve used in NYC means a lot to us. Thank you for choosing JP Urban Moving!
We could not have had a better moving experience from beginning to end with J P Urban. Nick and Nikki were fantastic with prompt, professional, extremely helpful, and very understanding communication in the planning phases leading up to the big day. It was a huge relief to have Nikki successfully coordinate two COI's. Nick spoke with us many times, was super understanding, led us through a video walk-through, and set us up to move on our desired date.
Jet our dispatcher communicated with us throughout moving day to keep us updated about crew arrival times, provide information about how to reach him and our crew leader Marco, and to check in with us about how everything was going.
On moving day, the team arrived right at the time we expected them. Marcos was a *genius* communicator and team leader right from the first moment, putting us at ease and consistently *super* responsive to our many questions/requests and fully present and always patient - all day long.
This was such a pivotal day in our lives and J P Urban made the process so seamless. The team (Marcos, Ulises, Alfredo, Gabriel) worked so well together and each one of them was an incredibly hard, strong, skilled, and efficient worker, even at the end of a long day/second drop-off when there was a complex carpentry issue with a cabinet base that required expert trouble shooting. We found the price to be fair and matched your estimate.
We are so grateful to JP Urban for the key role they played in making our move successful. They are a model moving company, and I can tell that their company is run by super thoughtful and intelligent people who fully "get" what a challenging experience planning and executing a move can be. Their services anticipated every need we didn't even know we had, and we are just completely grateful to them for the beyond superb service they provided us with.
We have already told our friends and family what a joy it was to work with J P Urban. Muchas gracias J P Urban!!!

GW, thank you for such a thoughtful review. Knowing this was a pivotal day in your lives makes your words especially meaningful to us. From Nick helping plan the move and Nikki coordinating both COIs to Jet keeping you updated, we’re glad you felt supported throughout.
Marcos, Ulises, Alfredo, and Gabriel will be so pleased to hear your appreciation. The cabinet base at the second drop-off certainly called for some extra problem-solving, and we’re proud that their patience and care carried through to the very end of the day.
Thank you for trusting us with this transition and for recommending us to your friends and family. ¡Muchas gracias a ustedes, G!

Smooth and professional - I couldn't ask for anything more from a moving company! Communication, timing, and execution were top-notch. Best possible experience imaginable!
Excellent move. Great crew. Punctual, careful, courteous, hard working. No gimmicks on quote. Very happy. Thank you!

I had a great experience with JP Urban Moving and would highly recommend them! Their pricing was very affordable, especially for the quality of service they provided. The guys were extremely friendly, professional, and efficient. They packed everything very quickly while still taking great care of all of my belongings. I was honestly a little skeptical at first because I have several very expensive and fragile art figures and paintings, and I was nervous about having someone else handle them. The team completely put my mind at ease. They were careful with everything, handled my fragile pieces extremely well, and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire move. Everything was handled professionally from start to finish, and the whole process was much easier and less stressful than I expected. Great service, great price, and a great team. I would definitely use JP Urban Moving again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and affordable movers!

Five well-deserved stars! Ok, the tl;dr: JP Urban Moving were AMAZING and you should hire them. Moving is so stressful but the folks at JP Urban Moving were in contact with me before and during the move. They were super communicative and prepared, and I felt reassured that I could count on them. Cut to the morning of the move: the crew was on time, did the job expertly and efficiently, wrapped my furniture items carefully, moved all my boxes in record time, and made sure it was all where I wanted and needed it to be in the new apartment. They did a phenomenal job. I highly, highly recommend them. It's so hard to know whether a moving company does good work in this city, but my review is 100% genuine, I just moved two days ago so it's recent, and I truly cannot recommend them enough. Miguel, Marco and Davy were so great! Thank you so much for this smooth and easy experience during a time that is usually so stressful. Oh and did I mention the price was super reasonable? Hire them!

I chose JP largely on the basis of exceptional online reviews.
I have moved before with their competitors, and never had a truly bad experience, but I have been charged more than the estimate after the job was complete.
JP final price came in under their estimate. Their staff was professional and ridiculously fast.
If I ever needed a move again, I would not hesitate to use them. I also will strongly recommend them to friends.
Service was 10/10. Communication 10/10. Pricing 10/10.

This was the best moving experience we’ve ever had. Setting up with Milan was easy and he was available and patient when we had questions (and made changes). The moving team was outstanding - the nicest group of hard workers ever! They were entirely professional, efficient and careful with our stuff. They had an extremely long day with our inter-state move and getting soaked in a rainstorm but they remained cheerful, considerate and diligent. Given how stressful it is to move, we would 100% recommend using JP Urban as they will make it as easy as possible for you.
