I receive quite a few new calls from people who are stressed about having their Canadian passport photo taken. They explain that they were photographed elsewhere and their photo was rejected several times by the Canadian Consulate. I personally photograph each individual (including newborns and special needs individuals btw.) for their passport and adhere to the specifications required. All the professional photography services that my company provides is based on providing the highest quality images that will last for future generations. I think about this saying "It’s only when a photo is damaged that we realize how deeply its memories are woven into our lives." During our initial phone call, I recommended setting up an appointment at my office so I could see your original photo and evaluate what can be done to restore it. In many cases, I have to scan or photograph the original image and view it on my computer. Photographs have different textures, scratches and imperfections that are only apparent once it's viewed on a computer monitor. If I feel an image is too damaged to restore, I inform my client, so they aren't paying for a restoration they don't like and throwing their money away. In most cases, I find photographs can be restored. I take great care in safe keeping your original photo(Why would anyone trust mailing a one of a kind original photo anywhere?). My company Innovative Images Photography by Robert Berger is celebrating 40 years in business.
