We had fantastic service from start to finish with Herbert Davis Removals. It wasn’t a straightforward move with plenty of changes, but nothing was too much trouble and the team on the day were great. Highly recommended. Thanks again
Thank you very much for moving Ali and I to the Scottish Borders. You have been a brilliant company to deal with - always responsive and helpful. We would highly recommend you.
Shane and John were fantastic - so positive and hard working. They both made the 3-day experience of packing and moving so smooth and without hassle. We are really grateful.
Excellent service and price. Our moving date changed numerous times but Herbert Davis Removals were so understanding and accommodating. The removals team were polite, friendly and very efficient; had us packed up, drove 150 miles to our new house and unloaded everything again, all on the same day. They really worked their socks off and in temperatures over 30C! Absolutely nothing was damaged in any way so cannot fault the service provided and would highly recommend this company.
I have used Herbert Davis for my last 3 moves of house. The removal guys are courteous, helpful and careful with items being moved. My last move to Yorkshire, my new house was on 3 levels with narrow Victorian stairs, but they managed to get all our furniture in without any damage. All 3 moves have been undertaken efficiently and without any incidents. I highly recommend Herbert Davis.
Herbert Davies Removals Ltd turned what is widely known as being one of the most stressful times in a person's life to being not too bad at all! I cannot rate them highly enough for all aspects!
The initial visit, to provide a quote, left us feeling calm and reassured that nothing we were asking to be moved was difficult or unusual and that they had all bases covered. We were given really useful advice and offered the use of various packing materials, as needed, when the time came. The quote was slightly lower than others we received and they offered a simple solution for our move. Our sale fell through twice and our dates kept changing but throughout communication was excellent and they were very understanding and reasonable in their expectations with regard to our ability to give a precise date! When the time came the staff were fabulous: punctual, polite, professional and helpful. They worked extremely hard, in very hot weather, on a property which requires a lot of uphill and downhill climbing to get to the various buildings. Despite that, they never lost their sense of humour and had the whole house, workshop, annex and garden packed on schedule. The delivery, the following day, was equally as seamless and punctual despite there having been a lot of adverse traffic on the journey. All items were taken to the rooms, buildings or put in the place stated on the item or on our plan. This has made it so much easier for us unpacking and has meant we don't need months of physio to get over the move! I cannot thank the whole team enough for how easy they made it, a 5* plus job!
We used this company for a large house move. Fantastic service from start to finish, competitive price and they were very flexible where they could be. Highly recommended.

Thank you for making it so easy.
I can highly recommend Herbert Davis - a brilliant experience all round and a lovely team of people from planning and organising to packing and delivery. We packed up, stored furniture for several months and then had it delivered across the country in the week before Christmas - everyone was helpful, jolly and worked well as a team. Price was reasonable. Brilliant.
Fantastic service from the very first enquiry. I had an absolute nightmare of a house sale but Herbert Davis squeezed me in just before Christmas and got me moved! The guys were super friendly and hard working. The admin are quick and concise. Honestly can't recommend them enough 👏👏👏
Moved us into our first house and it couldn't have gone smoother !! Would highly recommend ⭐️⭐️
Herbert Davis are brilliant. They were all friendly and extremely professional. Andy gave us a fair quote and even re-quoted after our move was delayed and our circumstances changed. Maxine was extremely helpful over the phone, and the whole team was very efficient on the day. We felt in safe hands throughout the whole process. Having had an awful experience the last time we moved, the service from Herbert Davis felt like a dream! They thoroughly deserved their 5 stars!
A simply exemplary moving service. Herbert Davis are everything that you would hope for in a removals company. Friendly, helpful, well organised, quick and efficient, value for money. The pre move support was great and the guys on the day made the whole day feel stress free. Without doubt would use again and recommend.

Herbert Davis were fantastic when I was moving home recently. They were friendly and professional and completed the job quickly with no issues. They even fixed the foot on my fridge that got bent in a previous move and erected my bed in my new home. I would definitely use them again in the future and cannot recommend them enough!
