Excellent service, friendly atmosphere and quality service. I recently had a pair of shoe resold and Dom went above and beyond to make them look and feel brand new !!! Thank you so much for your wonderful service.
The guys at Hakky shoes have always taken good care of my shoe repair needs. No matter if I dropped off boots, work shoes, my daughters shoes that have needed repair. Always a great price, professional, done in a timely manner and never any issues with the repairs! Great guys and I will be back in the future!!
Thank you Lance we really do appreciate your business
Do NOT have your boots repaired here! I brought these Thursday Captains in for a re-sole, and these boots are Goodyear welted, which means they can be re-stiched when applying a new sole. As you can see in the photos, they just cut the old sole off (leaving the old stitches, attached to nothing) and GLUED ON the new one. See how there's no stitches on the bottom of the sole? The ones that would be there if they'd actually re-soled them properly? I didn't realize this for a long time, and when I did, I stupidly hoped it wouldn't matter. It did! Re-soled in January, falling apart by September. Do NOT bring good boots to them for repairs, they will RUIN THEM
I spilled a whole bottle of Pine Sol in my brand new bag, damaging the suede interior and bone/cream leather exterior. Brought it into Hakky and Nick repaired it and at an amazing price! I had literally just gotten it and thought it was a goner, especially sad because it was a birthday gift, but I love it even more now! Would go back a million times (but lets hope I don't ruin any more bags)!
Yes, we are very lucky to have Nick working for our business and thank you for your business
I took my tennis shoes in to be repaired and I kept trying to tell the old short guy I'd be out of town on the pickup day he gave me. He wouldn't let me talk so I just said yes. Now I have to hope my mom or someone will go get them for me since I won't be back in town till August 9th.😑😑
I drove 3 hours to this place to get my boots done, were very nice and understanding, and got my boots worked on while I waited so I wouldn't have to make another trip back to pick them up. The price was perfect, I will definitely use them again. The drive there was worth it!
Best customer service ever!! Super busy on a Saturday and the worker was pleasant, courtesy and most helpful to everyone. My shore repair was done quickly and done well. I will be back even though I live 50 minutes south. I will refer to others too.
Dominic did an outstanding job on my Dan Post Western boots. Not only did he replace the rubber heel cap on both of my boots, he also polished and waterproofed my boots for a very reasonable price.
My boots look great, and I'm very satisfied as a customer. Will do business again, I have no doubt.
I’ve been going to Hakky shoe repair in Greewood Park Mall for 15 years. They have been professional, courteous and have given me the highest quality of shoe repair, care and advice. I would highly recommend them to anybody who needs any type of shoe repair.
Brought a pair of my black Uggs back to life after my failed attempt to fix them. Weather proofed them for me too along with a camel pair. They look brand new and my husband is happy he didn't have to buy me new ones. :)
Do not Get your Shoes "Polished" Here!
I've had these pair of boots for about a year. They've had creases on them, pretty normal for a well used shoe. I guess I dropped some water on my shoe accidentally one day, and stopped on my way to get them touched up. Shoes polish requires "Polish" not cheap sprays!!
Walked in to see if they could buff them. BUT nope! convinced me they know better and "dye" is better than polish.
Reearch revealed, it's NOT better. It'd just Lazy!
Now my shoe crease look uglier than it ever has since I've owned these.
I still can't beleive I paid $35 for spraying my shoes for 2 minutes.
I would Sue them if I could for misguiding me! All I'm saying, this is a Shoe Repair Shop. Not a place to get your shoes polished.
