Terry's team was fantastic! He brought a team of 3 people to ensure that all aspects of our nonprofit fundraiser was captured. They asked thoughtful questions to ensure that they understood our vision for the photographs. The photos turned out really well and he delivered them very quickly. Terry and Maike photographed our November 2024 wedding and did an absolutely outstanding job. From the first meeting to the venue site visit to the day itself, they were creative, professional, and took the most gorgeous wedding photos we could have possibly imagined. They were wonderful to work with and heard every single one of our requests for specific photographs. They more than delivered. The photos are almost cinematic in quality and the process of receiving our edited photos and creating our album couldn’t have been easier. They were also incredibly quick and responsive to our emergency request for a few edited photos only a day after our wedding when we needed them for a New York Times article feature. Every single person who has seen our wedding photos, even if they were at the event, can’t believe how stunning they are. We can’t recommend Gruber Photographers enough.

Terry always does such an excellent job photographing events. I’ve used him twice now — for a bridal shower and baby shower— and he always captures the event perfectly! We are very happy with the lighting and colors, the pictures turn out great.

Hire them! I was looking for a photographer for my son’s baptism and came across Terry’s site. I immediately reached out and received prompt responses right away. They were flexible with scheduling and we get everything booked quickly. Our photographer was amazing!! She arrived early, was very prepared and super friendly with guests. Most importantly, the photos are absolutely beautiful! Best event photos I’ve ever paid for. Wishing I found this company sooner!!

Thanks for your feedback. Christenings + Baptisms are a delight to photograph. We just try to reflect back all the joy the family feels and the intimacy of the event. It will be cool when he is old enough to look at the photos and recognize himself + realize it was his first time in the spotlight. 😇
Last fall was our 2nd year for class photos at Calhoun. Gruber Photography brought a top notch team to take professional portraits of the entire school in one day…IN NATURAL LIGHT! A huge feat! And they look TERRIFIC! I got to peek in on a few sittings as a parent helper… all of Terry’s team engage with the students exactly where they are. There are always awkward and funny moments, of course, but in flipping through the entire classes photos, Terry succeeds in catching the essence of each kid. Usually multiples. The portraits are not overdone or heavy-handed. They are natural and honest! He lets the beauty of the moment and the person be the focus in my opinion.
I would, obviously, recommend Gruber for school photos, but would no doubt entrust them with wedding, engagement, family portraits, and even animals & pets. A great energy all around. Good turn-around time. To have a portrait of this quality as a school pic is unheard of. Beats the days of walking across the auditorium or gym floor for 1 click and you get what you get.

Wow...School Picture Day should be fun so we try our best to let the children be playful while we shoot. The outdoor lighting we use is also a component: enhanced natural light is how i describe it. And lastly having 4 photo stations so we can give each subject 2-3 minutes to relax really helps us give parents a dozen or so choices to pick from. thanks for your thoughful review....😍
Gruber Photographers took fantastic pictures of my daughter and her high school classmates. Terry not only took beautiful photos, but also managed to capture each student's unique personality through the expressions and poses captured. Great work!
