We went canyoning on the Mellth River as a group of four and thoroughly enjoyed it. Exploring the waterfalls and deep pools was refreshing and great fun, with plenty of exciting jumps along the way. The water felt cold at first, but the wetsuits soon kept us comfortable throughout the session. A fantastic experience that I’d recommend for kids and adults.
Nathan organised a great day for us with instructor Ed. Climbing,abseiling and gorge walking. It was a super day. Ed was great craic, very knowledgeable,knew what he was doing and instilled confidence. Would definitely recommend.

I have just returned from the Gorge walking experience hosted by Nathan, firstly he managed to facilitate us at short notice, which in all honesty has made our holiday.
The experience was out of this world! His knowledge and proffesionaliam is second to none and he clearly knows how to ensure you have a great time - nothing was rushed and we really felt we go the best out if this experience, which my two teenage boys loved.
We were given challenes to do, allowed to stay in areas and have fun as well as have the luxury of somebody highly experienced leading our party.
I would highly reccomend and will be mentioning Gorge Walking Wales to others

Wow what an experience! Had the best time for a fun family outing. The jumps were awesome and Nathan was great at guiding us. Recommend to everyone
We had an amazing first gorge walking experience at Mellte Waterfalls and couldn't have asked for a better introduction to the sport. The route had a brilliant mix of jumps, dives, and fun games, making it exciting from start to finish. My favourite part was the 7.5 m jump – it was a real adrenaline rush and something I'll remember for a long time.
Nathan was an excellent guide. He gave clear, confident instructions throughout and struck the perfect balance between being firm on safety while keeping everything relaxed and fun. At no point did we feel pressured to do anything beyond our comfort level, but his encouragement helped us build confidence and try more than we thought we would.
The whole experience was really well organised. Everything ran punctually and efficiently, the equipment was great, and having a waterproof camera to capture the best moments was a fantastic touch. We came away with some brilliant photos to remember the day.
We'd absolutely recommend this experience to anyone, whether it's your first time or you're looking for a fun outdoor adventure. Thanks again to Nathan for making it such a memorable day!
My family had a brilliant time with Nathan today, gorge walking in the Mellte Gorge followed by abseiling nearby. Nathan looked after us well, great kit and instruction! We all had fun! Thank you Nathan. I would highly recommend.
What an absolutely fantastic day with Gorge Walking Wales! Our 24 Year 6 children from St Joseph's had the most amazing adventure from start to finish.
The instructors were brilliant—friendly, encouraging, and made everyone feel safe and confident while having loads of fun. The children loved every minute, from climbing over rocks and splashing through the water to jumping into pools and taking on exciting challenges together.
There were smiles, laughter, and lots of unforgettable memories made. It was the perfect way to build confidence, teamwork, and resilience, all while having an incredible time outdoors.
A huge thank you to the whole team at Gorge Walking Wales for giving our children such a memorable experience. We would highly recommend it and can't wait to come back!
