I'm 72 years old, and my son and I booked with Craig for 2022 elk hunting. As the name implies, it is an adventure. The guides and Craig are great, the camp manager and camp cook wonderful young ladies! It was tough week, with the wind being a major factor, but we got one shot and my son dropped a very nice 6x6. I consider 50 per cent success great on elk. If you want a guarantee on a big elk, go to a game farm. If you want a terrific adventure, than this camp is for you. And above all, keep a positive attitude!
I went on an elk hunt with Craig in 2018. It was a true back country hunt. We rode horses each day to find the elk and slept at night in a wall tent. Craig had me on bulls each day of the hunt and I ended up with a very nice 6X6 for my first bull. All those involved in this operation were great people. Connie the cook was too notch and Sam the Wrangler was a great kid. I highly recommend booking a hunt with Broken Hart. I'll definitely be going back.
Craig and his crew go out of there way to give you the hunting experience of a lifetime. I have hunted elk with them the last two years and have nothing but positive things to say about there operation people, food . Looking forward to spending another week with them this fall. Jesse burt
