So, we may or may not have a problem... Every country we go to, my wife seems to need an incredible quality local purse. Figus absolutely perfectly scratched that itch. Modern yet classic design, unique colors and impeccable quality, if you are a Craftsman oriented hunter of bags, this will not disappoint! Even more fun is that they do much of the design and manufacture in the back of the shop.

I cannot praise or compliment the staff of Figus and their beautiful items enough, especially Figus leather goods.
When I visited Milan a few years ago, I asked locals where to find nice leather handbags. I was told to go to the Duomo. Everything I saw at the Duomo I could easily get from any high-end shopping center in the States. I wanted a high quality handbag made locally without any flashy branding.
I found a Figus shop while wandering around Milan; the unassuming but distinct storefront caught my interest. The experience of shopping at Figus was exactly what I was looking for. I met Mr. Figus and saw the artisan workshop area. The atmosphere of Figus is a mixture of authenticity, dignity, and hospitality. There’s no off-putting pretense you often come across at the Big Brand shops.
Further, the quality of the Figus handbag I purchased is on-par with the leather goods I’ve bought from Ferragamo, Mulberry, Yohji Yamamoto, etc. The bag I ended up purchasing was the “Shoulder bag Figus dark green leather.” The leather was supple and soft, the design was simple and minimalist, and I’ve received many compliments in the US on my bag. A glamorous sales associate at a high-end furniture shop commented to me, “Your handbag is gorgeous, and it looks expensive.” I laughed at her emphasis on “expensive.” To that point, Figus products are reasonably priced but not at the expense of quality workmanship.
This fall, I noticed Figus’ website had the same green handbag I bought a few years ago but it was a vibrant red, came with silver hardware, and made of imitation leather. I found Figus’ Business Account on WhatsApp and called to ask if it would be possible to custom order this red bag in real leather and to add an additional hand/elbow strap. They said absolutely no problem. The custom ordering process by email was smooth and easy. Figus handled all of the import/tariff issues for me and sent my handbag by FedEx. The entire process took less than 7 weeks.
I’ve uploaded a side-by-side picture of both my Figus handbags. While I adore my green shoulder bag, I wish the gold hardware were silver and had an extra hand strap. The red shoulder bag has silver hardware and extra strap, exactly as I wanted. I can’t describe the intoxicating smell of the leather. I’ve sent photos of my new bag to my friends, and they’re all impressed, including a dear friend from Milan who is difficult to please. :-)
I hope this review helps a fellow handbag addict if they’re in Milan. I also encourage people to visit Figus’ website and browse all they have to offer.

Mi ha accolto la meravigliosa signora Gilda a cui ho raccontato di avere acquistato alcune borse quando ero una studentessa universitaria.
La qualità delle borse è davvero eccezionale e c'è l'imbarazzo della scelta. Il fatto che la designer sia una donna, la signora Eleonora, è davvero un quid pluris.
Per la prima volta nella mia vita ho acquistato una borsa rossa...manifattura perfetta e vegana!

Ricomprato la borsa Billy, il colore bordeaux è molto bello, borsa molto spaziosa mantenendo però una grandezza nn esagerata.

Il personale molto gentile e collaborativo per ogni mia esigenza.
Se passate da Milano andate in uno dei loro bellissimi e colorati negozi ne vale veramente la pena, se no potete ordinare tranquillamente dallo shop, consegna veloce e puntuale

A fabulous, proper designer shop with colourful, good quality leather carefully crafted into wonderful creations. There's always something beautiful from bags to jewellery and other lovely gifts in each of their shops. Very helpful and friendly staff, willing to go the extra mile for good service. Highly recommend!
