I must admit that the level of after sales service from this company is utterly atrocious. After buying quite a big rig from them (over 100k spent) I had issues with programs crashing, after doing some analysis on my end it turned out that the memory that was installed is faulty. Now the drama starts - there is absolutely no care in the world from this company for after sales service. Trying to get these units replaced by them has been utterly frustrating. I have asked for a contact person in management to discuss this predicament - there answer is that there is no manager available and there solution stands. I live in Zambia and would need to send them the units via courier. After sending them the faulty units they came back and said I need to send them the other two before they will replace them from the supplier. This means I will be without a computer for close to a month? In what world do these people live in that this is an acceptable solution? They then said I can buy more memory whilst they are replacing the faulty units, What would I do with the memory as there are no slots available for 6 units and how is this a customer centric solution?? I strongly suggest you think twice before ordering from this company, because if you have an issue you will be run from pillar to post to try and resolve the issue if they bother to respond. Update 18/05/2024: Even though Evetech strives to do better they simply have not done better, these are just empty promises so don't believe the responses you read from the supplier. Believe it or not I still have not received the memory that was faulty. I sent the the first units back to them and did get the replacements only for that set, they then said I needed to send the other two units, that were working, (had bought 64GB) back to them and they would replace them as they needed this to complete the warranty claim against the supplier. (BTW this comes at my cost sending them) They received these on the 15/04/2024, and guess what they now did not have the stock to replace them and said they are now waiting for the supplier. This is honestly a comedy show - I'm utterly surprised how this company functions. Very quick to take your money but to hell with after sales service!!!

Via email conversation that was agreed upon, As a retailer we have to send the units in their respective sets back to service centers/manufacturers for credit. Our support team has been in communication with you on a work around, we will send 2 RAM sticks and request for the other half of the pair to be returned and will assist on replacement for warranty purposes. Since we currently only ship within South Africa, we understand you have arranged for your own couriers to collect and deliver. We completely understand how frustrating a situation like this can be and we're committed to resolving this situation as quickly and efficiently as possible. Not impressed with afterwards service at all. Sent in my laptop, which is under warranty, to find out why it stopped charging. This, after googling and seeing hundreds of MSI pulse issues with same issue. Thought I'd send it in because still under warranty and because I could not find a supplier of same charging unit in Durban. Only to have evetech try put the blame on customer, saying smoke coming out of keyboard after plugging in (I couldn't even get power so not sure how they got smoke) now they want to charge me a few thousand for a broken part... not impressed. This is like dealing with mechanics...finding additional things to charge for out of warranty to make money. Issue still not resolved. 21 days and counting. I will edit this review when I see progress. NEW UPDATE: Going on month 2...waiting for my laptop to be repaired. New charging unit has now been ordered from overseas. Going to take another month for this part to get here. Expected delivery 26th April. Must be coming in by yacht because you can get anything sent from overseas quickly these days. Laptop sent in February. They will now cover warranty on defective part...my only worry now is that I'm going to receive a damaged product back as I'm concerned with the remark that the service dept managed to get smoke coming out keyboard. Will be interesting to see how this goes. Update to follow... Almost 3 months...and still awaiting feedback and still don't have my laptop back. Keep in mind...still under warranty till September. Would be great if I just got feedback on emails sent...

Had issues returning an item they sold as an "open box" item, but which came in a plastic bag WITHOUT the required mounting bracket! I IMMEDIATELY informed the salesperson and told him I'm not happy and would be returning it the very next morning (he said it's fine), when I got there the next morning they told me it would take 3 hours to run diagnostics on said item! Big difference between an "open box" item and a "second hand/incomplete" item. Gross miss-presentation to say the least. (The salesperson was friendly and courteous, but Management really need to be more transparent with what they advertise)

Great service unless something needs to be returned I would not recommend buying any windows product from Evetech as if it doesn’t work they will fight with you for a week about not accepting returns on windows products before eventually allowing you to return the product which will then take over two weeks and your desktop needing to be collected which you will then wait a week for just a simple windows key card to be typed in to check it doesn’t work which takes 5 minutes at most then Evetech will tell you then they will tell you they want to reinstall windows where you will then loose everything on your desktop, such a disappointing experience wouldn’t recommend buying anything.

Evetech repair disaster…. Horrible experience waiting for my laptop to be repaired. I lost months of work, only after 3 months the unit got delivered to their tech team…. I fail to understand who waits for 4 months to get a laptop screen replaced. I paid and sent POP within 2 weeks of dropping my laptop off. The assessment took forever and the repair process bearly happened without me calling in everyday. Kind regards Boitumelo

We received your device on February 27th and promptly sent a repair quote on March 20th. Once we received payment confirmation on April 24th, the service center immediately ordered the necessary LCD screen. Unfortunately, due to limited parts availability, the service center sometimes needs to outsource components, which can cause delays. We've escalated the matter to expedite the process as much as possible, but we can't pressure them beyond their capabilities. We appreciate your patience and understanding. I've been a loyal customer since Evetech had a single small office in Centurion. I've witnessed a disappointing decline in their service and support. What was once a reliable and attentive experience has devolved into frustrating delays, poor communication, and a lack of responsiveness. It feels like support is an afterthought, a begrudging task aimed solely at saving the company a few rand rather than valuing and supporting a returning customer. Despite significant investments from both my companies and myself, it's become evident that our future purchases will have to be made elsewhere. A quick summary of a recent experience: We have purchased multiple expensive gaming chairs for our office and home, each chair is rated for a weight of 150kg (The heaviest person in my office is 100kg.) Every single one of these chairs has an issue where the gas lift starts to sag, meaning you cannot sit in an upright position for longer than a few minutes before the gas lift sags down to the bottom, this causes back pain and essentially renders the chair ergonomically unusable. I reached out to Evetech to order 2 new gas lifts for the chairs which sag immediately to see if it would help. We installed these gas lifts and they lasted 6 months and a few days. Frustrated I reached out to Evetech to find out what the solution or way forward is considering that each of the chairs cost between R3500.00 to R5000.00 and they are now essentially useless. They tried to blame the chair and the user and then they mentioned that I should reach out to the manufacturer. Eventually they let me know that the gas lifts are also out of warranty and there is nothing they can do. If you Google 'chair gas lift' - it costs R179.00 - it seems this is to much of an expense to solve a problem that would not have arisen if you did not sell faulty products. A high end gaming chair should not have a shelf life of 1 year. This is just a recent experience we have many more subpar interactions over the years...
