Poor service
I've been trying to get my cpu returned for testing for a week now I have paid for the courier and nothing. I had to contact them for any info and if I don't follow up every day I hear nothing. I have been a customer for years and evetech has always been my go to for pc parts. But that is swiftly changing.

Scummy tactics and return/refund policy
I've been a loyal customer for years and have spend upwards of 100,000 with this company. You'd think you'd get a little more support about a headset that arrived literally covered in mould. But a simple refund is too much to ask i suppose.

Faulty PSU
I ordered a PC from Evetech in early January, and unfortunately, I had an issue with the PSU. However, I must give full credit to Evetech for their exceptional service. They replaced the faulty unit without any hassle and did so promptly! The support team was incredibly friendly and patient, even with my frequent calls to check on the progress. A special thanks to Evan Fourie, who kept me updated every step of the way and made sure my PC was taken care of in good time. I’m truly impressed with the service and will definitely support them again in the future!

I will admit I was very skeptical about dealing with the company due to past reviews. So far, I have been pleasantly surprised by the sales team... Paul was fast to reply and offer suggestions where I had questions... I will update after I receive the order. But for now... Thank you for great service

Those who are part of the tech world and deal with it every day seem to be leaving the 1-star reviews, while those who are not seem to be giving higher marks. Well, in comparison to First Tech, Rectron, and Pinnacle, Evetech deserves a - 5-star rating. I contacted them by email to confirm a pickup and was told, "Yes, all is well, come and get it," only to be told later that it was not available.
Some advice:
Integrate the payment system directly into your website and get rid of third-party payment apps.
Get three panel vans, take orders until 10 PM, and handle your own deliveries.
Only send out the tax invoice after payment is confirmed on your end.
We only use Evetech for non-business line items. You may be winning with the general consumer, but everyone who does this for a living dreads working with Evetech.

Ordered a unboxed deal monitor which was only a few hundred rand cheaper then the same exact one which is brand new. As I thought I could save a few hundred by ordering the unboxed deal one as it must be in amazing shape/as new being only a few hundred cheaper. The monitor was very expensive, over 6k , AOC 1440p 170hz Agon monitor. Once the monitor arrived, I was shocked to see how dirty the box and the actual monitor was. There was literally dirt on the monitor arm and dirt marks all over the screen. Had to wash my hands just from unboxing the monitor. Keep in mind this is a premium AGON monitor. I then realized that both the power cable and the display port cable was missing, which I was never informed about, nor was it mentioned anywhere. I called them to report the missing POWER cable and display port, explaining to them that I can not use the monitor without the power cable. They asked me to just email them as they can't help over the phone. So I emailed them, without any response. I then went to town to buy a power cable to test the monitor. And surprise surprise, there was a dead pixel in the middle of the screen, making the monitor almost unusable. I finally got a response from them 3 days later with just a link to file a return with a bunch of terms and conditions. I simply do not trust them enough to send the monitor back after reading all the T&C ,so I will take the loss on myself, but I will never shop with them again. The least they could have done is give the monitor and packaging a clean, or just check if it was working atleast, or bare minimum just provide a description that says no power cable or display cable, dead pixel in center of the screen.
Edit/ update:
Changing my review from a 1 star to a 5 star due to Johann from management completely taking ownership of the situation and sorting my issue out. He called me personally and arranged a collection aswell as a new sealed replacement at their cost. This level of customer service I experienced from management definitely impressed me. Thank you.

I was a bit too harsh in my previous review, eve has had some of the best prices I've seen and I've always gotten what I've paid for but in all honesty they're lacking in customer support. I recommend buying from them but really make sure you're not gonna have to go through customer support.

Recently needed to return something and the request was logged quickly with no issues or fuss; the team constantly communicated over email and kept me in the loop at all stages and ran all tests on the device that was requested.
