I had an unfortunate situation happen with my original dress that I had waited 8 months for from a different boutique and came into Designer Loft with no wedding gown just two months before my wedding. Kate stated with me, patiently, going through tons and tons of gowns until I found something that made my heart sing. I will forever remember this experience and her utmost dedication to helping me. Kate is a wonderful sales associate! We came to Designer Loft after visiting five bridal stores in New Jersey without finding “the one,” and from the moment we arrived, our experience was completely different.
We arrived there early for our appointment, and Kate was ready for us with a warm, welcoming smile. She is incredibly knowledgeable, calm, and resourceful; you can immediately tell she has years of experience helping brides find their perfect dress. Throughout the entire process, she was patient and never once made us feel rushed or pressured, even when we were carefully considering different fabrics, accessories, and customization options.
What I appreciated most was how thoughtfully she guided us with constructive feedback that aligned with our wedding theme and venue. Her expertise helped narrow down the options while still allowing me to feel confident and excited about my own choices; all while still following my inspiration pictures.
Designer Loft has an amazing selection of dresses, and thanks to Kate’s support and encouragement, I finally got to say “yes” to my dress! We were even able to customize the gown and create a custom jacket with the designer. By the end of the appointment, we had also found the perfect veil to match.
The experience was so positive that we felt completely confident canceling another bridal appointment that we had scheduled later that same day. Once I found my dress here, there was no reason to keep looking.

Said yes to the dress with Kate!!! Can not say enough good things about her. She really listens to her brides and understands the vision for your wedding before you even begin selecting dresses! She pulled as many dresses as I wanted and I never felt rushed or pressured to make a decision. The first dress she suggested I try on ended up being the one - but we still tried on all the others to be "sure"! I was lucky enough to say yes to my dress today at the Designer Loft in NYC! I must credit my wonderful experience to the entire team, specifically Kate who went above and beyond for me. She brings a sense of calm to the experience, and let me ask about 10,000 questions. She is an expert, no doubt, and gave honest and helpful suggestions throughout my fitting. She took such care of me and my family, it truly blew me away! Overall, despite being indecisive and picky, she handled me with such grace and generosity. I had a wonderful experience with Yasmin who was very patient and kind. She asked all the right questions to help me narrow down my choices and find the right dress. She was really creative and had great suggestions for minor alterations we could make to the dress to make it even more unique and flattering.
As a new bride-to-be, I was so nervous about dress shopping because I didn't know exactly what I wanted and felt like my body wasn't where I wanted it to be. I cannot recommend Designer Loft Bridal and the bridal stylist, Jamie, enough!!!!!!!!!!!
My very first appointment was here, and they made enough of an impression on my family and me that, when we went to only one other appointment at a different bridal shop, we couldn't help but compare our experiences the entire time. Designer Loft Bridal is a huge showroom with a wide range of styles, fabrics, color options, and price range. They did not rush me, try to sway me into picking a dress, or push more expensive options on me. Also, the appointments do not require a fee, which is such a relief considering how much money goes into every aspect of wedding planning.
Jamie was my stylist and made sure I tried on a bunch of dress styles and looks at my first appointment. Toward the end, she suggested I try on a ball gown for fun, just to see how it looked on me. To which I asked if I could try a bold, colorful option I saw hanging on the rack, as it was "just for fun." Little did I expect to fall in love with this dress, but I was hesitant to say "yes to the dress" right away.
I spent the next few months thinking about this dress and looking at photos of me in it, obsessed with every detail. I finally made another appointment with Jamie at Designer Loft Bridal this past weekend. I was beyond excited to be back with her and have her energy with me. I exclusively tried on ballgowns this time and saved my bold beauty for last. As Jamie was putting me into the dress and we spoke about why I loved it, it hit me, and the tears started flowing. I knew it was my dress. To share that moment alone in the dressing room with her was so special because she's impacted my whole dress shopping experience; she made me feel comfortable, happy, and excited throughout.
I cannot thank Jamie and Designer Loft Bridal enough! I will be back to look for my second-look dress, and I cannot wait!
I had the pleasure of working with Virginia at Designer Loft Bridal starting in December 2024 while shopping for my wedding dress. Virginia was warm, professional, and incredibly helpful as I tried on different dresses. She listened closely to what I was looking for and helped me navigate the process without ever making me feel pressured.
I was fortunate to find my dress that day, and Virginia's guidance was invaluable in helping me select the perfect veil to complete the look. I ended up purchasing a veil elsewhere; however, Virginia's style guidance was dead-on!
Over the months that followed, I had the opportunity to see Virginia a few more times during my fitting appointments, and she continued to be personable, helpful, and professional throughout the entire process.
Overall, I really enjoyed working with the entire Designer Loft Bridal team—the women at the front desk were always pleasant and welcoming, and my seamstress, Natalia, made my dress fit perfectly. I was absolutely thrilled and felt so confident when I tried on my dress at my fourth and final fitting!
From start to finish, Designer Loft Bridal provided a wonderful experience, and I am so grateful for the care, expertise, and attention that went into helping me feel my best on my wedding day. I would highly recommend them!

I had an appointment to find a dress in late 2025 and only waited to leave the review since I did not receive my dress until recently. I’m honestly surprised at the positive reviews for this bridal shop. My consultant was Bianca, and as soon as we started discussing what I was looking for she seemed to almost be mad / annoyed that I had questions. She interrupted me multiple times as I tried to explain what I was looking for, and borderline scolded me about speaking too quietly - it was extremely off-putting right off the bat and if my friend hadn’t been there shopping with me I would have left immediately. The conversation felt very aggressive, like she was either making fun of me (for not knowing exact dress styles, etc.) or I was wasting her time. My friend separately noticed and commented on how she was treating me. There were other interactions we had with a few other employees where it just seemed like they didn’t want to be there. I ended up finding a dress there but I regret purchasing it and patronizing this business. If you want to have an enjoyable, respectful shopping experience I would highly recommend going elsewhere.
Victoria was amazing and so patient with us as we navigated through different styles. I went in with something completely different in my mind, and ended up saying yes to a different style altogether. Throughout the process, that spanned multiple appointments, she was super helpful and accommodating to my requests. She never made me feel pressured or rushed. The experience was amazing and I would 10/10 recommend her!
