Derek is the epitome of a southern gentleman. He cares about people - that is obvious when you deal with him. He did a small custom job for me that required several phone calls to line up and organize. Sight unseen! He never met me, but offered to pick up my trailer from the graphics installer and tow it 15 miles to his shop to fabricate and weld on a custom generator tray on the tongue. It is beautiful! Heavy duty steel, professionally built and he even painted it. They painted the welds! I was beyond impressed. And the best part - the price. Very reasonable price for the quality and amount of work they did. He even had his employee meet us after hours so I could pick up my trailer. Then, he called me at 7 pm to make sure I was satisfied with the work. I am very satisfied, Derek. Thank you brother! Really great guy and a great business. Highly recommend!

I was searching for a 5X8 utility trailer locally but could not bring myself to purchase one of the low quality trailers available at Lowes and Tractor supply. I found Custom Welding on Craigslist and was impressed by the pictures and drove 3 hours to check out the stock. I was blown away by the quality and price. The trailer tows like a dream and the quality of the construction is excellent.

Bought a trailer and pulled it several hundred miles, some loaded, some unloaded. It performed very well; I hardly even knew it was there. The owner was on vacation but still talked with me and lined up the trailer I needed to be ready next day. Trailer was built for quality with better than average axle capacity and 3 frame tongues, even on the small ones. They have a lifetime warranty on welds and very reasonable prices. These guys are great! I will definitly drive the extra distance to get my next trailer from them too.
Derek is the man! Custom built my trailer and even added a few extras. I have owned many trailers, and this one was built from scratch and is built better than any trailer you can find. You want find a better person, Derek is professional and builds a great trailer. If you are looking for one you need to go see him. He has a great team, and delivers as promises. Great trailers, well and sturdy built, at a great price!
We purchased a 6x12 single axle, and I was surprised by the quality. Not flimsy, and treated boards were a definite surprise.
We also got a set of kayak racks, which will allow us to haul up to 6 kayaks/canoes. I opted to not have them mounted to the trailer rails so I can get them mounted to fit our watercraft later.
The trailer comes with a bill of sale, so you'll need to get a vin from the DMV to get a title.
Great guy to work with. Definitely recommend!
