Beautiful experience!
I’d been attending Castelforbes college for a month in Michael’s classes and lived in Larkhill’s student house (managed by Castleforbes).
Lectures were useful and very fun thanks to Michael, who also helped me after class and who made us learn mixing theory, practice and fun games.
Larkhill house was such a peaceful place where to live largely thanks to Stephanie’s management and kindness.
All the staff members I’ve talked with, such as Valentina and Erika, were both friendly and helpful; also Seamus, the director of studies, was always aware about what was happening in his school and every time he could, he encouraged us to talk in English an keep learning.
A variety of amenities were available for free, including a kitchen equipped with microwaves, fridge and an how water dispenser, as well as a common room featuring computers, books, and comfortable seating.
I’ve enjoyed every moment in this school, the experience is not cheap but more affordable than other schools and, in my opinion, totally worth it.

Atmosfera accogliente e professionale allo stesso tempo. Le lezioni, condotte da docenti qualificati e con esperienza, sono strutturate per garantire un apprendimento efficace e personalizzato. L'approccio interattivo e dinamico favorisce la partecipazione attiva degli studenti, creando un ambiente di apprendimento stimolante.
Ho avuto un’esperienza davvero meravigliosa con la Castleforbes College English School di Dublino. Fin dal primo giorno mi sono sentita accolta con grande gentilezza e professionalità, grazie ad Erika la nostra tutor e al nostro professore Domminick e Michael. Gli insegnanti sono incredibilmente preparati, pazienti e sempre pronti ad aiutare ogni studente a migliorare con il sorriso. Le lezioni sono ben organizzate, dinamiche e coinvolgenti, perfette sia per chi parte da zero sia per chi vuole perfezionare il proprio inglese. Mi è piaciuto tantissimo l’approccio pratico: si parla molto (solo) in inglese e questo aiuta davvero a prendere sicurezza giorno dopo giorno. Inoltre l’ambiente è caloroso, amichevole e stimolante, quasi come una piccola famiglia internazionale dove è bello imparare e crescere insieme. Consiglio questa scuola con tutto il cuore a chiunque voglia migliorare il proprio inglese in modo efficace, sereno e piacevole!
Castleforbe is an amazing school. The teachers are very experienced and their teaching methods are interesting.
When I first started studying here, I felt very nervous and didn’t dare to speak English much. However, the teachers and classmates were very friendly. At the school, I met people from many different countries.

I’m Xuan Er Tang, a student from Malaysia who decided to step out of my comfort zone and study at Castleforbes College.
From the very beginning, I felt welcomed and supported. The teachers are professional, patient, and genuinely care about every student.
This experience has greatly improved my English and helped me grow in confidence and independence.
Looking back, choosing Castleforbes was one of the best decisions I’ve made for my future.

He estado estudiando en Castleforbes he cursado el nivel B2 de inglés. Castelforbes è un’esperienza che non si può spiegare a parole: si può solo vivere. Ho iniziato questo percorso su consiglio di mio fratello e sono arrivata con un inglese molto basico. In appena un mese, grazie allo studio intenso e al supporto costante ricevuto, ho raggiunto un livello che non avrei mai immaginato possibile in così poco tempo. Questa scuola è fatta di persone straordinarie: sempre presenti, attente e disponibili. I professori sono eccezionali, capaci non solo di insegnare l’inglese, ma di trasmettere fiducia, motivazione e amore per la lingua. All’inizio non è stato facile, soprattutto confrontarmi con studenti di livelli più alti, ma l’ambiente accogliente, che con il tempo diventa una vera famiglia, mi ha permesso di sentirmi al sicuro, di mostrare fragilità e punti di forza e di mettermi davvero in gioco. Consiglio Castelforbes a chi, come me, pensava di non avere le capacità per diventare bravo in inglese. Questa scuola ti aiuta a superare i tuoi limiti, a crescere come persona e a capire che, con impegno e determinazione, si possono raggiungere traguardi che sembravano impossibili. Un ringraziamento speciale va a Valentina ed Erika per il loro supporto costante, a tutti i professori che hanno contribuito alla mia crescita personale e linguistica, e al direttore, che in qualche modo mi ha aiutata a “lasciare andare” l’italiano per superare me stessa. The speaking class is only useful if you have a very, very low level (A1–A2); otherwise, it isn’t. The rest of the classes depend on the teacher and the classmates you get. Some are excellent, and others are just so-so.

I must admit that it inspired confidence in me right from the start—just talking to Erika, the girl who answers and provides all the requested information, made me feel comfortable and motivated to leave.
When I arrived there, I met another girl, Valentina, who was just as kind and welcoming, always ready to help you with anything. What can I say? Personally, I had a great experience. I started from zero with English, but thanks to Prof. Romano, today I have a good foundation and a strong motivation to keep going. After the holidays, I’m planning to come back 💪😉.
