Contacted Bodden Tours via their website and booked the customizable Roatan Tours. Communication with Victor was fast and easy via email. We arranged for hotel pick up. Tex picked us up and took us to the Mayan Jungle which was fun interactive with a few animals. Then we drove around the island because we wanted to take a look and see it. Had great conversation with Tex about local life. Unfortunately no cruise ships were at port that day so many shops were closed as they cater more to cruise ships which was a bit disappointing as I wanted to do some shopping by the port. Then we headed out to West Bay Beach and then stopped at a local Chocolate shop. We cut our tour short as we had signed up the day before for some scuba diving. I would recommend and would use them again as they were professional and punctual.

Beautiful Island and a great tour guide.
Denry was our guide. He was very friendly and informative, showed us alot of the south side of island. We went snorkeling and went to the slothes and monkeys, chocolate and rum factories. Had a great time and will definitely use them again.

Flexible tour
We had a great time with our guide! This booking was extra helpful because we had a terrible experience tendering off our cruise ship and lost almost 3 hours of our day. The customizable tour allowed us change our day on the fly and know our guide was still there/we weren’t missing a time-sensitive tour. We loved having a local guide to give us history of the island and knew the fastest routes to get us around. And our guide was such a kind person!!! Highly recommend this to families and people going on cruises in case you run into our experience of shop-related hangups.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Private Tour with Bodden Tours!We had an amazing day with Bodden Tours and couldn’t have asked for a better Roatán experience. Everything was perfectly timed—from pickup right after disembarking Icon of the Seas to visiting the Sloth & Monkey Park, relaxing at West Bay Beach, and stopping for chocolate and rum tasting. They even fit in Carambola Botanical Garden, which was a wonderful bonus.Our driver George Coleman was fantastic—friendly, courteous, extremely knowledgeable, and made the day smooth and enjoyable. This was a stress-free, well-organized, and truly memorable tour. Highly recommend Bodden Tours for anyone visiting Roatán!

Our tour guide, Joevan McLaughlin, was an excellent driver and tour guide. He showed us all the main highlights of the city and patiently waited for us while we explored each stop. It helped so much that he is bilingual, because I love speaking Spanish when I’m not in the U.S., while my husband doesn’t speak Spanish at all—so poor Joevan had to switch back and forth between my husband, my daughters, and me!We highly recommend him—friends will not regret requesting him as their tour guide. He is very polite, knowledgeable, and knows the history of the island very well.I will recommend you with all my friend in USA for sure !

Ask for Charline and the East End Tour - you won't be disappointed!!!
Going to let those of you who want to get away from the crowded beaches and craziness of the West End in on a secret - there's another half of the island to explore and it is AMAZING! Ask for Charline and let her take you to her village of Jonesville along the north shore - explore the mangrove tunnels, eat lunch at your private paradise (a restaurant/bar floating in the inlet - the red snapper is unbelievably good), hand feed the sea turtles and tarpon, then go to Camp Bay Beach - probably the most beautiful and most empty beach on the island! We did all that in one day and hardly saw any other tourists. Charline is the best♥! She is friendly, knowledgeable and flexible. Our day with her on the island was great!

Great Day with Marlenny’s Care
Booked a tour through email. The kiosk was easy to find even though it was crazy with multiple ships in port. Very happily, we were given Marlenny for a guide and were walked to a clean SUV. My daughter is VERY shy but she was immediately at ease with Marlenny who was so sweet and kind, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great day despite some bad weather in the morning. She was always nearby if we had a question or needed a change due to time and she made 100% sure we were back to the ship on time. I would absolutely book with Victor Bodden Tours again and I would make sure to request Marlenny as a guide. Definitely bring enough cash to pay as the credit card fee/tax is high. They warn you via email ahead of time.

Amazing experience
We did this excursion as a family off of the sun princess. Our driverTex was amazing, friendly, and led us through the entire day including getting us to the front of the line as a large group. The atv team was awesome and took us on an amazing atv tour. Kenley took us through the monkeys sloths and parrots. He was extremely knowledgeable and made sure the animals came near and on is. I would highly recommend this and be sure to request kenley as your your guide. The driver and atv leader you get who you get.

Wonderful private tour with Fernando
A perfect day with Fernando and Victor Bodden Tours. He showed us great sites, recommended a fantastic place for lunch, and took us shopping for things we were interested in. But mostly he was just fantastic company and made it a wonderful day on Roatan. He even helped me practice my Spanish!

Lovely Day
We were escorted to Fernando swiftly after locating the kiosk (from cruise ship). Fernando was extremely friendly and helped my 6 yo with his Spanish. We started at the monkey and sloth sanctuary (which we loved) followed by the chocolate factory (we weren’t fans mainly due to it being overly crowded). Fernando then brought us to a small restaurant which was quiet (per our request) and was super yummy! Fernando told us about a beach resort with a $23 entrance fee - it was simple (perfect for a 6 yo).Fernando was very kind and we were lucky to have him as a guide!

Lenny was the best!
We spent the day with Lenny touring Roatan. We saw all 4 sides of the island, monkeys, sloths, birds, mangroves, beaches, and had lunch at one of the best places and views ever! Lenny was amazing, adjusting as we went and got us back to the ship on time, despite traffic, 2 accidents, and some challenging roads.

Highly recommend. We have been utilizing Victor Bodden Tours for several years - at least once or twice per year! The customizable private tour is awesome. We have brought our family and friends and consistently had an excellent experience. We have ziplined, snorkeled, swam with dolphins and many other experiences. We've always had a great time. Loved our private tour and guide in Roatan!!
My fiancée and I had a private tour with Marlene of Victor Bodden Tours - we went to a chocolate factory, a zip line and sloth/monkey preserve and an iguana farm. We had a blast and really enjoyed Marlene as our driver and guide. She was super friendly, funny and very helpful at each stop. Got back to our ship on time with no issues. We would highly recommend this company and the tour and especially recommend Marlene!! Thanks for a great day!!
