SCAM SCAM SCAM I live in Ontario Canada. This company is in Australia and offers international shipping. Last month I bought a dress for my daughter. When the tracking showed the package flew to British Columbia, Canada and then back to Sydney, Australia, I contacted the company. They have been extended difficult to work with. Their unwillingness to help is absolute horrendous. My package has been sitting in Australia since October 29 and the company has blocked my email address. I have proof of all their correspondence. I am now out over $120.00 Do NOT trust this company.

Beginning Boutique and it's founder Sarah Timmerman are engaged in a scam Shoppers Beware! Beginning Boutique and it's founder Sarah Timmerman are engaged in a scam operation to fraudulently harm customers and steal their private information: Background & Facts: On, May 16th, I purchased $593.70 worth of products and selected 4-6 day rush DHL shipping for a present. On May 17th, Beginning Boutique aka Sarah Timmerman's team wrote me and asked for screenshots of my bank account (in violation of Australian privacy laws.) After informing them their request was illegal and in violation of consumer protection laws. They asked me to tell them (via email) the transaction information verifying their corporate entity and the transaction details. I finally decided to trust the company and sent them screenshot of my credit card information verifying the transaction and verifying the the purchase was authorized. After waisting hours of my time (and phishing for personal bank screenshots and personal information,) they thanked me for sending them my credit card statements. Sarah Timmerman's team then told me that I had sent "all the information required," After they had conned me into sending them my account information and personal credit card statements they canceled my order! They even confirmed in writing that I had sent "everything required" then canceled everything after wasting hours of my time. This company is not legitimate: They are operating some type of consumer phishing scam to trick people into sending in bank screenshots and personal credit card statements. My opinion is to Stay Away!

Beginning Boutique does not comply with the Australian Consumer Law I contacted Beginning Boutique about a top that was unworn and had the tags still attached, though one of the birch eyelets was faulty, thus the top was unwearable due to the backing being loop through string, which would have ripped through the faulty hole, making it unwearable. After back and forth emails with the company for over a month, I received hostile and cold replies, stating that I should have known the item was faulty earlier, and that I was not being truthful about the top not being worn. To top it off, Beginning Boutique flat out refused to provide a refund for the faulty item. After escalating the matter to Consumer Affairs who advised of the breaches of section 54 and 55 of the Australian Consumer Law Competition and Consumer Act of 2010, Beginning Boutique have "ghosted" me and will not reply. I have never had such a negative experience with a brand, and warn other fellow consumers that Beginning Boutique does not abide by or respect consumer laws.

Horrible quality and POOR customer service. Horrible customer service, and extremely poor quality! My daughter purchased a dress from this company and we canceled the order within five minutes. They have a 14 day moneyback guarantee. When I went to get my money back, they explained that because I did not wait for the dress to arrive, I was not entitled to my money back, and I would receive a store credit. Crazy, right? The most unprofessional and ridiculous group I think I’ve worked with in the business world in quite some time. The young lady proceeded to explain that I will need to wait for the dress to arrive, and then ship it back to them if indeed, I would like a refund. Insane customer service, and very poor quality dress, which was why we chose to not proceed with the item. My daughter realized she had purchased a dress from this company last year and it fell apart. Literally the first time she wore it. Look for other options that are more customer service friendly and lenient return policies as this group is looking for any way, shape or form to keep your money. Run!
