Such a beautiful restaurant with the loveliest staff! I came with my mum, and we were so impressed by how genuinely kind and attentive everyone was.
Something sticky on the floor got onto my shoe; it seemed to have been brought in by someone else. I was initially quite upset, but the team immediately tried to help me clean it. Vladimir, the manager, was especially wonderful and went above and beyond to turn the situation around.
Their kindness completely changed my evening, and I left with nothing but good things to say. This is the kind of service that makes you want to keep coming back; after this being our second time coming.We will absolutely be visiting again whenever we’re in New York. Thank you, Vladimir and the whole team, for taking such lovely care of us!
We had such a wonderful experience at Barbonia, and STEFAN was a huge part of what made it so special! He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming, with such great energy. His service was amazing from start to finish, and he made dining with my friend feel that much more enjoyable. It’s rare to come across someone who genuinely elevates the entire experience just through their personality and hospitality. Stefan is truly an asset to the team, and we’ll absolutely be back!
A mixed bag of an experience here. The spicy feta was phenomenal—easily the highlight of the meal—and the drinks were decent. My wife had the salmon, which she enjoyed, but my entrée was a major disappointment.
I ordered the Slow Roasted Lamb "Terracotta" ($44) based on photos online. The presentation under the flatbread dome looked impressive, but once cracked open, it was basically all chickpeas, tomatoes, and peppers with barely any actual lamb. I know food costs are high right now, but dropping nearly $50 on an entrée that completely skimped on the meat is tough to justify—even our server gave us an "eek" look when setting it down at the table.
Great atmosphere and delicious appetizers, but the value and portions on the signature entrées just aren't there right now.
Came here for a birthday celebration. It was the perfect energy. The atmosphere is lively and great lighting! Good for a date of dinner with friends. Bar looks cool toi.
