I can say that Balti Curry House is the best Indian restaurant in Fitzroy North. We had family dinner and ordered tandoori platter, Balti chicken , Momo, butter chicken and Balti lamb. They were so delicious 😋 I liked the atmosphere too, it’s nice and cozy. Staff were kind and helpful. We will come back soon 🥰

OMG, the Butter Chicken is superb!! So is the pistachio kulfi for dessert. This place is plain-looking but disguises the provision of the most tender and tasty meals. So well priced too! Great service tops it off.

Very nice restaurant with very reasonably priced quality food. Staff are friendly and professional. I would however recommend some background music especially when you get there first and it's totally quiet, it feels somewhat weird.

Absolutely phenomenal. When I step upon the ground, the earth trembles beneath my feet. As a god picks up a grain of sand and envisions the hourglass of eternity, so do I pick up a momo drenched in chilli sauce. Your enemies become irrelevant as you sup upon the silky syrup clinging to bastions of basmati. Rolled in a roti, the taste is too hotty. Garnish your buds, have a burl on the Balti!

Got take aways mid week at Balti. Chose the 'quick pack' for 2. Fantastic value and really generous serves of curries. We had the lamb vindaloo and eggplant masala- both delicious. Staff each time I've been have super helpful and friendly. Highly recommended as your go to place for indian food in the inner north.
