BIG warning. they don't care and take your money only an "excellent" product with "quality assurance fee" to boot, arrive UNUSABLE in exchange for my $900 getting a return label , 5 days of petitioning in messages no taking responsibility on their part the computer displays "battery needs service" and the battery holds NO charge. how did someone miss the obvious? I am out of days of waiting for the product, setting up, repacking, fighting just for RETURN LABEL...and going to the shipper all for (hopefully) a credit of full payment. but in this process i lost much time and effort! they show zero accountability, care, or of course - compensation.

Rated 1 out of 5 stars DO NOT USE. You waste all your time and money. Terrible company. Backmarket are a shoddy, terrible company. They will take your money, send you a phone that is unusable, and make it literally impossible to return it. Now they have my money and I have their terrible phone despite paying for "excellent". DO NOT USE BACKMARKET. Try all other options.

S20 5g excellent condition Here my experience. I bought s20 5g from here. But it was broken only 3 month and I sent it back to them. But they said it is my fault so they told me they can't fix it. And I got it back but they made my phone like used one. I sent it with clean and clear but they sent it back used someone's. Back cover painting off, many scratches and with bonding and taping exposure. It wss Not mine. When I got it, I tried to talk with them several times but all the time they said like, it is your fault. That's all. I don't understand at all. Okay I understand with my fault. But why they bring it back with broken one? Don't buy anything from here. No one take this responsibility from backmarket. They just say it is your fault. But I didn't send you like this broken one. They have to take a responsibility about this situation! I never back to them.

Avoid Avoid Avoid Abysmal. Avoid, avoid, avoid. They've sold me a phone with a dodgy battery which is in warranty and they've tried to claim that I've damaged the phone and are refusing to honour the warranty. They referenced a "scratched LCD" screen as evidence of damage which has really, really annoyed me as I raised this issue when the phone was delivered and they told me it still met the "good" category because the Samsung Flip has an inbuilt protector which meant the screen is fine. There's also a tiny, superficial scratch to the phone hinge caused by the faulty spring in the knuckle of a foldable phone protector casing - not caused by 'accidental impact'. If there was accidental impact there'd be more damage than a single miniscule scratch. For good measure the screen protector holding strip wasn't properly attached either. Specifically it's Cov Tech Ltd for are also to blame. Absolutely shocking experience and I regret using Back Market.

BackMarket Galaxy z Flip I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration regarding the condition of my phone upon its return after complaint. I sent in my phone for repair with the expectation that it would be returned in the same condition I sent it—free from any further damage. However, I have received the phone back with noticeable damage that was not present when I sent it. I have always taken great care of my device, keeping it protected in a leather case that fully covered the phone from the start. This case has kept the phone in pristine condition. Therefore, it is particularly upsetting to see that the phone was returned to me with damage that I did not cause. I also have a report from the phone store outlining the issue with the cracking display from normal use, which was the primary reason for the complaint. However, this new damage is completely unrelated to the issue I initially reported.

As a loyal customer who has spent thousands of dollars with Back Market, I expected a certain level of quality and care, but my recent experiences have left me incredibly *************** 2023, I purchased an iPhone 12 in good condition, which lasted just a year before overheating and becoming unusable. While frustrating, I decided to give Back Market another chance. A few months ago, I purchased a watch in good condition that arrived with a faulty dial. Although I returned it for repair and the process was relatively smooth, it added unnecessary inconvenience.The final straw for me came last week when I purchased an iPhone 12 Pro in excellent condition. Upon arrival, the phone had visible stains on the back, became instantly hot to the touch, and had a battery health of just 78%. This was unacceptable for a product labeled excellent. Not only was I forced to wait for the phone, but I now had to deal with the hassle of arranging a return, replacement, or repair.When I reached out to the customer care team, communication was unclear, and promises made by the agent did not align with the situation. I was left wondering if I was even speaking to a real person. Despite eventually receiving a refund, my request to speak with a supervisor was ignored, and no effort was made to resolve the issue or regain my trust.For a company Ive supported so extensively, I expected better treatment and accountability. Back Market had the opportunity to make things right, but they failed to do so. While Im thankful to have since replaced the phone with a superior option from another retailer, I feel compelled to share my experience so others can make informed decisions about trusting this platform.

BEWARE- possible scammers and bad customer service. I would not recommend BackMarket at all. I even feel they could be operating a scam. I ordered a Samsung Galaxy S23+, which has a 6.6-inch screen. I also selected a storage of 256GB, all shown on my invoice. However what I have received is a Samsung S23 base model with 6.1 inch screen. Checking further, the phone also only has 128GB storage! The IMEI number (which matches between the order details and phone information) show it is an S23 and not a plus. Clearly there is a significant price difference between what I ordered and what I have received. To resolve this, they have offered me a partial refund for me to keep the incorrect phone, which would leave me paying more than what's available on their website for a phone I didn't even choose. Their replies are forceful in pushing me to accept such a ridiculous offer. Illogical and bad customer service. Leaves me to question if I was purposely sent a cheaper incorrect item, hoping I wouldn't notice to make an increased profit...

The items have always matched the condition specified on their site and their prices are fair and reasonable. Our orders have arrived on time and in good condition with no problems.
