Had a terrible and unfortunate experience with this business, and would caution others before booking. The owner did not show up on the day of our planned event, and has been non-responsive to majority of the calls and texts we have sent trying to resolve the matter. It has been weeks and we still have not received our refund.
I am very disappointed to be writing this review, as my best friend and I had previously been loyal customers under the former owner, who was attentive, communicative, and professional. We genuinely enjoyed our experiences there.
Because of those positive visits, we were gifted multiple gift cards and planned a girls’ night for six people on November 14. Shortly before the event, we received a call from the current owner explaining she had been hospitalized. We understood this was unforeseen and agreed to receive gift cards so we could reschedule at a later date.
My best friend communicated with the owner, Amanda Beckles and was told she could pick up the gift cards. Due to having five young children and being unable to travel to Patchogue, Amanda advised that she would mail the gift cards that same day so we would have them for our Christmas gathering. Unfortunately, the gift cards never arrived.
Multiple follow-up attempts were made via phone and email, none of which received a response. Another friend attempted to assist and was initially told the owner was “working with corporate,” but after continued follow-ups, her phone number was blocked and communication stopped entirely.
After numerous unsuccessful attempts to resolve the issue and with the store frequently closed, one of our friends went in person when the shop finally opened to inquire about a refund. She was told the owner would follow up within an hour. Given the prior lack of communication, she chose to wait in the store for a response. Instead of addressing the issue, the owner called the police. This was clearly not a police matter. An attempt was also made to issue a no-trespass order, which confirmed that there was no intention of resolving or refunding the matter.
Based on our experience, I strongly caution others before booking with this owner. She also owns a location in Lindenhurst. I encourage prospective customers to review additional feedback on Yelp, as there appear to be similar unresolved issues involving canceled events and refunds.
My daughter has been attending summer camp here for the past three years and it’s always been phenomenal. The team of teachers including Lilly and her brother have been so wonderful to work with . Furthermore, the artwork that she has brought home over the years has been beautiful and is displayed throughout our house. We most definitely will be sending her back next summer.

We celebrated my daughter’s 8th birthday here and she said it’s been her most favorite birthday party yet! Liz the owner was amazing to work with and her communication was top notch. She answered all our questions, gave input and truly helped make the party run smoothly. She went above and beyond and even helped with decorations. Our hosts were great with the kids, patient, helpful and kept them entertained. They timed everything perfect with pizza and then kept them happy with games while we got ready for dessert. Everyone had a great time and amazing spin art projects to leave with. Highly recommend!! We will be back soon!

We had our daughter’s 8th birthday at AR Workshop in Patchogue this past weekend. My daughter and her friends did the Spin Art project. It was amazing. From the very beginning of the planning process, Liz was great communicating with us. We even had to change the date because of a family scheduling conflict — this was not a problem. The staff was awesome the day of the party. From helping us decorate to entertaining the kids. They were so accommodating to the needs of all of the kids, even the shy ones. I highly recommend AR Workshop in Patchogue for your events and we will definitely be back.

So much fun ! Ideal for a get together with friends, colleagues ,family. ! We shared, laughed , commiserated & created! The team at AR Workshop is amazing , Gabby & Sophia were super helpful & PATIENT 😉 ! With their guidance and assistance I created this amazing welcome sign for my porch for Spring! What’s so cool is we all pre selected what we wanted to create! You pre pay and everything is set up for you when you arrive, so comfortable & nice friendly staff and able to bring in snacks , desserts 🍮 and make it so personal! Plan to go back & create !

I recently hosted my sister's bachelorette party at AR Workshop, and let me tell you, it was an absolute blast! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and enthusiasm by the hosts who ran the show. They truly went above and beyond to make sure our experience was nothing short of phenomenal.
First off, the candle pouring activity was a huge hit! Not only did we get to create beautiful, personalized candles, but the process was also so much fun and surprisingly therapeutic. Our candles turned out amazing, and we couldn't stop admiring our handiwork.
And let's not forget about the bingo game! It was such a clever addition to the party, and having prizes up for grabs added an extra layer of excitement. The hosts did an incredible job keeping the energy high and ensuring everyone had a fantastic time.
I have to give a special shoutout to Liz, the owner of AR Workshop. She was unbelievably helpful throughout the entire planning process. Despite my endless emails and questions, she always responded with a smile and a helping hand. Her attention to detail and dedication to making our event unforgettable truly set AR Workshop apart.
The best part? Everyone kept raving about how much fun they had, and many mentioned that they couldn't wait to come back for another event. Hosted a great work event and then also hosted my daughter's birthday party there and everyone loved it! And my daughter attended Summer Camp there, and had a fun time, just wish more kids come again this year!
Everyone we worked with was wonderful and the projects turned out beautifully! It was a great way to celebrate a bachelorette party with friends! We made signs for the bride's wedding and had lots of fun.

A wonderful experience !
The owner and staff were so helpful and there were lots of laughs and stories exchanged. The decor was so creative, warm, and inspiring.
I went with my daughter, daughter-in-law, two grandchildren and a friend to make the blankets.
Each of us went home with a lovely chunky hand made blanket regardless of skill level.
It’s was a great multi generational experience.
