An amazing experience from start to finish. We had walked down to Aroma in the rain and were very wet when we arrived inside. They were quick to seat us and make sure that our outer layers could dry out and that we were warm. The food was incredible, the flavours were lovely and the meat so tender. The staff were very attentive and ensured we were enjoying our meal and happy with the service throughout. At the end of the evening, they offered us a lift to the Air BnB as the weather was still bad. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. Thank you very much Aroma.

A nice, simple restaurant with fantastic service. Staff are friendly and helpful.
I ordered the prawn puree which arrived yellow, and had a heavy sweetness to it. Normally prawn puree is rich and tangy. I appreciate the description of the dish stated it was ‘creamy’ but this was not how it was cooked. It was extremely sweet. I found the flavour disappointing and quite sickly - I couldn’t finish it even though this was the only dish I ordered. It was definitely not what a prawn puree should be. The menu needs to specify the sweetness of the dish and the fact that baby prawns are used.
Having a small portable heater by the door would also be recommended as I was seated by the entrance and found the temperature quite cold in that area.
*Edit- Stars dropped further following dishonest reply from restaurant where they’ve fabricated conversations and stated that I fed-back having enjoyed the food at the time. Definitely did not happen! My dish wasn’t even finished - appalling attitude to an honest & constructive review. The food was far from ‘the best food I’ve had’ - totally ridiculous claim to make in a reply. Shocked at the misrepresentation by the restaurant.*

After speaking with the manager who looked after your table, we’d like to clarify a few points. Your group did not wish to pay a deposit to reserve the table during a busy week, but we were still happy to accommodate you. Throughout your meal, from starters to mains, our staff checked in several times and your table praised the food — even commenting that it was some of the best you’d had.
Our head waiter also explained the menu options in detail before you ordered, including the preparation of the prawn purée. We’re therefore sorry to hear that, despite enjoying the meal at the time, you later felt disappointed.
We do appreciate your comments about the dish’s sweetness and the temperature near the entrance. Your feedback will be reviewed with the kitchen and management team so we can continue improving our menu descriptions and comfort for all guests.

I'm very lucky that Aroma Lounge is my local Indian (Kashmiri) restaurant. The food is always really well prepared, absolutely fresh and delicious. The menu has a selection of specialities and traditional dishes which I tend to go for ams haven't been disappointed yet.
The speciality lamb and lentil Daal ghost is my favourite dish and the garlic and coriander naans are banging! I don't usually bother with rice, a hot fresh naan is more than enough for me to scoop up my main.
The owners are friendly and courteous and always make you feel welcome.
I usually dine in but have ordered takeaway after a long day of house renovation. Ordering was straightforward and everything was ready in a little over 15 minutes. All fresh, hot and very welcome after a day of hard graft!
