Good selection of wine Chateaux. Our guide, Catherine, was very knowledgable about the region and a very enthustiastic host. There were a few hiccups with the booking; our chosen date turned out to be a public holiday. Luckily we were able to change dates without any financial or Chateaux quality impact. Private group tour is the way to go, as it targets your wine knowledge level and your preferences, however it is more expensive than a large group open tour. Une belle sélection de châteaux viticoles. Notre guide, Catherine, connaissait parfaitement la région et s'est montrée très enthousiaste. Il y a eu quelques petits soucis lors de la réservation : la date choisie correspondait finalement à un jour férié. Heureusement, nous avons pu changer de date sans incidence financière ni compromis sur la qualité des châteaux visités. La visite en groupe privé est la formule idéale, car elle s'adapte à votre niveau de connaissances en vin ainsi qu'à vos préférences ; toutefois, elle est plus chere qu'une visite ouverte en grand groupe

A perfect three days with Aquitaine Limousine. Catherine Caquelot and her team are experienced and compassionate tour guides. We used them for our three days in Bordeaux. They picked us up from the airport in a Mercedes small van which we used all four days and drove us to our Airbnb. Catherine and I had previously discussed the three days we would drive around the chateaux and the city of Bordeaux. She was very helpful in helping us choose our itinerary. Each day was beautifully experienced by us. The first day we went to the village of St. Emilion and three chateaux. Each had a different historic significance. We had a delicious picnic at one of the chateaux. The second day we toured Bordeaux. Anais, our driver and guide gladly accommodated our specific requests. We had a delicious lunch. The third day we went to Medoc where we visited two chateaux and a boutique chocolate maker. We chose to omit the third chateau offered. We had a picnic at the chateau Larrieux which has always been owned by women since the 1500’s. On the fourth day, they took us back to the airport. I highly recommend Aquitaine Limousine if you are visiting Bordeaux and the wine chateaux.

Lovely time in a charming town We had a lovely day with Hugo as our guide. Exploring the Chateau Fonplegade was not only educational but stunningly beautiful and ending with the charcuterie and wine pairing was icing on the cake. Hugo was informative and accomodating.

Catherine's communication was great and helpful, and that got the day off to a good start. As we drove to St. Emilion, Catherine gave us detailed information about the region and wine classifications. The tour included 3 wineries, where Bacchus has long-term relationships, as well as a go around the town and lunch. We were warmly welcomed and our needs were accommodated graciously.

Très beau tour du St-Émilion. Catherine est une guide très connaissante de tout ce qui a trait aux vignobles de Bordeaux, et nous avons pu apprécier beaucoup d'information qu'elle nous a prodiguées tout en parcourant la région. Dans les 3 vignobles visités, ses contacts personnels avec l'équipe locale font qu'on se sent accueillis, et nous les visites offrent l'occasion d'apprécier tout le travail dans l'élaboration de ces délicieux vins. Les vignerons eux-mêmes ne sont pas avares de commentaires et savent nous faire apprécier la visite. Les sites choisis sont à petite échelle, tout à fait différents de ces visites de type "industriel" que l'on peut rencontrer dans des plus grands domaines. A recommander !

Tour of choice in St-Émilion Very nice tour of the St-Émilion.Catherine is a very knowledgeable guide to everything related to Bordeaux vineyards, and we were able to appreciate a lot of information she gave us while traveling the region.In the 3 vineyards visited, his personal contacts with the local team make us feel welcomed, and we visits offer the opportunity to appreciate all the work in the making of these delicious wines.The winemakers themselves are not greedy with comments and know how to make us appreciate the visit. The sites chosen are small in scale, quite different from those "industrial" visits that can be found in larger areas.Recommended!

I would highly recommend Catherine and Bacchus tours. Our weekend trip was exceptionally well managed in a professional and friendly manner. Catherine was very knowledgeable and is obviously well regarded and respected by all the wineries we visited. Catherine was FABULOUS — took us to 3 totally different yet awesome chateau in Saint Emilion, Pauillac & St. Julien, as well as an incredible lunch in Pauillac!! Spectacular chateaux and wine with the perfect host! This tour was definitely a highlight of our trip, and Catherine was an absolute pleasure, so knowledgeable about the region, the wine and the history. She chose exquisite chateaux for our tastings/visits along with the perfect bistro for lunch in St. Emilion. We're still talking about this tour, and hope to visit again. A bientot!
