Aquariums 2 Art Reviews

Raquel Alexandra Christodoulou Pires 2026.08.05

Really lovely to have Ben back in the fold! Before his hiatus, Ben looked after and maintained my aquariums for several years – at one point I had six tanks, so he certainly had his work cut out! 😂 He’s incredibly knowledgeable, not only when it comes to aquarium maintenance and setup, but also about different fish species and their individual needs. He kept both me and my fish very happy for years! 🐠 Ben has always been reliable, knowledgeable and genuinely great at what he does. I’m so glad to see him back doing aquarium maintenance and design because it’s absolutely where he belongs. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and experienced to look after their aquarium. 😊

Ben helped design a new tank along with the associated equipment to replace my smaller sized discus tank. Really helpful and informative, and even with the setting up he travelled some way! Great job

I happen to cone across Ben by trying to find a local guy who could help me with setting up my new tank with plumbing in etc. Wow what an impressive person he is. From first phone call, polite, very informative and eager to help me out. Punctual, friendly competitive price and went out of his way to help me with 2 follow up visits afterwards. Thank you very much, 💯 % recommend 😀 👍

Just had Ben come out to sort my tank out and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the result. He’s done an amazing job and the aquarium looks so much better than it did before. He was really patient with all my questions, took the time to explain everything clearly, and gave me plenty of advice on what I need to do between visits to keep everything on track. You can tell he genuinely cares about getting the tank looking its best rather than just rushing the job. I’m really impressed with how he’s designed and scaped the tank. It’s completely transformed it. I’d highly recommend Ben to anyone who wants their aquarium looking its absolute best.

Ben does regular maintenance and cleaning on both my marine and freshwater aquariums when they need a thorough deep clean and refresh. Every time he has been the fish tanks look like a brand new set up and 24 hours later the best water clarity I have seen. Always pleasure having him here and full of useful info. Always available at the end of the phone for emergencies and will also help collect the water for water changes and collect and add new fish to make things easier.

I was recommended Ben by Mark at Aqua Fish. Ben came over and did a detailed assessment of my tank and fixed a date to completely overhaul it and do a deep clean. 10 hours later the tank was back to looking its best. Ben explained everything he was doing along the way and literally took every live rock out and scrubbed the algae. Rescaped everything and a huge water change. Cleaned out the sump and fitted a ReefMat. Amazing work and will now have regular maintenance from Ben. Very highly recommended.

I would fully recommend Ben and his expertise within the aquarium industry. His knowledge and experience was truly valuable from start to finish. Any question, big and small, Ben answered without hesitation - which only added to the level of trust in his services. Ben was there to support me throughout, from my initial contact right up to spending the day fully setting up my new aquarium in my home. If you need a full aquarium scape/build, or just an aquarium clean, Ben is your man.

Ben is the fountain of all knowledge when it comes to aquariums - aquascaping, maintenance, set-ups, emergencies and anything else related - he helped us out hugely when we worked out of the country, trustworthy, reliable and honest - he genuinely cares about fish and wants you to know how to care for them. 5* without a doubt.

Ben at aquariums 2 Art has recently installed my dream tank. Being very fussy I wanted it to be right without any problems but Ben put me at ease with his knowledge. Install of my 8ft went in without any issues. He’s been a great point of contact with my queries over pipework and various ways I could have gone with a few other areas of the tank and equipment. So far my dream tank has really lived up to being the dream tank.
