Ordered a superior 76er rack online since I'm not near Utah. These racks have a lot of customization options which is great for someone like me who knows what i want. Communication was good confirming my planned selections and taking advantage of the NICA discount, even though some steps seemed manual on their side. The parts came packed well with a helpful parts list, and there are plenty of assembly videos available. I did a lot of research when upgrading to a vertical bike rack and Alta Racks stood out as the best option.

Ordered a GPR 4 pack to transport my family’s bikes, including a GROM basket and a wheel choke for my kids’ 20” and 24” bikes. My order shipped promptly after a quick (human) email confirmation that I ordered a coherent setup for my vehicle and bikes. The system was packed beautifully.The rack system and hitch design is simple and elegant and every choice was clearly intentional. The details show the love that has gone into each iteration of the product. Assembly was straightforward, the rigidity was on point, and initial bolt tension held strong over 200 miles right out of the gate both at speed and over some rough pavement.

Shipping to Canada was a bit pricey but this is one of the best constructed racks out there. Fits perfectly on my trailer with Alta’s custom designed adapter and I won’t worry about the bikes at all while we are driving in any type of terrain!

It truly pains us that our Canadian brothers and sisters have to pay such prices between shipping and their taxes. Wish it was not the case. It is cheaper to ship products from China to Canada than USA to Canada. This is wrong.

Quick delivery. Solid packaging - everything arrived intact. Easy to follow Ali’s videos to put the tack together and Mount it on the car. AR was responsive to my questions via website and text. Easy to load the bikes and the car. Easy to raise and tilt the rack. Expensive but worth it for our 5 bikes of widely varied shapes and sizes.

Just got back from a trip to Glacier Nation Park. We had 6 bikes on my ALTA superior 76. Love that I can still open both doors to my 2023 Ford Transit XLT with the use of the kick out adapter.

Great overall experience. Called with some questions prior to my order and got the answers I needed. When my order came the boxes were damaged and a part missing but Alta rack took care of it no problem. The rack itself is fantastic. Whether going 80 on the highway or climbing dirt/gravel off road the bikes are locked in with no concerns. Well worth the cost- you get what you pay for. Made in USA makes it even sweeter. Extremely pleased I got my Alta rack.

We have had the rack for a while. Have had a lot different bikes on it. But now the world of e-bikes has taken over and they are big and bulky. Wish the top and bottom bar of our 6 bike holder was a little wider and you can see in the pics. It’s tight and handle bars have to be moved for clearance. We love the rack and I would buy it again. It’s build strong and is bad ass. We recommend it too all our friends and anyone who sees it and asks about it.

My wife and I got the GPR 6er about 5 years ago and its been amazing. So many good shuttle days in the memory bank with no scratches on the bikes/ making good time up the roads. Clearance, stability, speed of the load and unload are all awesome. (tundra 21') My brother-in-law upgraded from another vertical rack on his van to the alta swinger and the GPR 6er last year and we can finally use his van for shuttling which is nice b/c then we don't have to move carseats. With e-bikes entering the fray my wife and I just upgraded to the ocho and are super stoked on it. Sold our original GPR to my brother so now the whole family is on Altas. Couldn't recommend them enough for solving all the classic bike rack problems.

Great customer service! I bought a used Alta rack from a neighbor, but needed the “grom” size baskets for my family’s BMX racing bikes. Alta’s customer service was fast both times I ordered and the baskets came in the mail quickly. Now we’ve got three 20” bikes on the rack 3x a week for practice. The rack itself is very well built and we get comments everywhere we go.

This rack is a thing of beauty. I own the Superior 76er. Built like a tank. Customer service was rock solid and Ali's videos are always legit. Alta Rack is definitely the king of vertical bike carry. Can't recommend more.

My rack, swinger and accessories arrived just 3-days after placing the order! The boxes were beat up but everything was packaged and protected well, so there was no damage. All the pieces, parts and holes lined up perfectly and I like all the little touches (even the hitch pin bolt has a logo). I’m very happy with the fit and finish. Take your time threading bolts and the ratchet straps to avoid cross threading- there were a couple sticky spots that had me guessing but it was all good with patience. The assembly instructions are on YouTube and they’re great. I got this for my Ram Promaster camper van. I haven’t seen any reviews or videos with this setup, so I’ll share that the hitch with the swinger is a perfect fit! It clears my ladder with spare tire, but doesn’t stick out too far. I tried it without using the ratchet straps and there was a lot of bounce over speed bumps- even at a crawl. With the straps connected to my door hinges via para cord it locks it in much better. I’ll be curious to see how the ratchet straps hold up over time, but they work great out of the box. I researched vertical racks extensively, and am very happy with my choice to get the Alta!

These guys are top notch. Not only is the rack sturdy, bomb proof, and unique in design and manufacturing, this team does not try to sell you things you don't need. The rack works perfectly on my 4runner, but I am getting a Sequoia soon. So I emailed them about what I needed to ensure it fits on my new vehicle. They immediately emailed back about how I could try raising the top bar and/or programing the lift gate to stop at a specific point. He said try that first before buying anything--but If needed I could get the XL extender. Only a cool company helps you troubleshoot before selling you something you might not need. Well done, Ali and Alta Racks!

Nice high-quality straps. We have a Six bike rack from 2020 and they fit just barely. They are thicker and stronger and wider than the previous ones so they look like they’ll hold up even longer. Love this company and this is a good product.

Thank you Anthony, we saw the need to manufacture our own, based on years of usage. The new ALTA SIX straps should last a life time. Stainless steel tips and much thicker material are there to ensure durability.
