They "Guarantee to beat any price" but was told "This time we can do it, but next time we won't be able to, our prices aren't that much different" for a 22 cent difference on a gallon. Keep in mind, they've beat this same competitor's price for over a year, but now it's an issue? Also heard someone in the background say something about "haggling or being a haggler" while the woman on the line chuckled. Do yourself a favor and use a company from Fuelsnap or Codfuel and spend the extra 2 cents you'd be saving then to feel judged and misled by a company who apparently falsely advertises once you're saving a bit too much. It suddenly becomes convenient to not match certain competitors.

I’ve been using all island fuel since I bought my house 3 years ago . Theres have been not once an issue . Customer service go above and beyond and make sure I get my deliveries as soon as possible as I always wait last minute to order when I don’t have oil . Today , shout out to Destiny who I vented too I placed an order online and I didn’t notice it didn’t go through and I need delivery as soon as possible , and she listened to me and got me the next available. Thank you for listening to me vent and being patient with me . You are a life saver .

All island fuel is the best oil company on the island they have the cheapest oil and their service is very reliable!! Today I ran out of oil so I called them and they said they would be here in a few hours. other oil companies told me that they couldn’t come until Tuesday. Thank you to the gentleman that took the call and helped me out!! 🙏
Always great to work with and always give us the best price and fastest delivery. Never an issue with the fuel oil. I have an outside tank and have never had a problem with my heat even in the cold temperatures we have been having.
I am extremely disappointed with the service I received. I called today on a Monday, to ask if they can delivery oil and the woman who answered my call didn’t even make an effort to see if they could arrange a delivery for today I clearly explained that I have a two-month-old baby at home and that I have been a loyal customer for many years and that didn’t have any oil on a coldest day. Despite this, no delivery was made and no urgency was shown. For a company that provides an essential service like heating oil, this level of neglect toward long time customers especially families with infants is unacceptable.
This situation caused unnecessary stress and discomfort, and it has seriously made me reconsider continuing my service with this company

If I can give no stars....I would. Extremely disappointed.
Our oil delivery was not completed. The driver arrived briefly and left without delivering, despite my son being outside at the time. No attempt was made to communicate. When I later called to express my frustration, the owner canceled the delivery altogether instead of working toward a resolution. Very disappointing experience.

Hi Maria, as you and I discussed on the phone we could not make the delivery because due to excessive snow piled up in front of the gate, we could not access your fill pipe. I told you that we would come back the next day if the gate was accessible and at that point and you insisted that we come back immediately. The driver was too far away to do this without compromising the service to our other customers. When I explained this, you cursed at me and became very hostile. You are a first time customer for us because as you stated the other companies you were dealing with prior could not come as soon as we did, and you were asking me to put you in front of our other loyal customers who have done business with us for years, as if they didn't exist. I am not willing to compromise the service to our existing customers. We advised when you placed your order that due to the snow we would need you to make sure there was access to the fill pipe. This was not done in advance as requested, and when we arrived you wanted us to wait while your son worked on it. I advised that this would have taken too long and that the driver could not wait because we had many other customers to deliver to. We do want to make your delivery if at all possible, remember we don't make any money if we come to your house and don't deliver, so we try out best to get it done if possible.
I am sorry that it did not work out the way you wanted it to, but I have to consider all the customers expectations as a whole, and manage the resources of the company appropriately so that all get the best service possible.

I don't recommend this oil company the staff is rude, they don't offer same day delivery I placed an order and I didn't receive oil for 5 days and they are very expensive

Hi Aiden, I am sorry that you feel this way, we always beat our competitors prices so you are guaranteed the best price. If you look at our reviews you will see how many people say we have the best prices. Unfortunately you placed an order when we were having record cold temperatures and after a large snow storm, so we were completely booked up because we have so many customers that like our price and service. Most other oil companies were in the same situation. This is not the norm, usually we can come the same day if needed, or the latest the next day. In order to keep good service for our existing customers, we were not really taking on new customers but we did try to help you as best we could, and were able to bring the oil sooner than most other companies could.

Not to make any excuses but the company has been so overwhelmed due to the recent snow storm and record cold temperatures that the employees have been working 12 hour days just to keep up and provide the best service possible. Perhaps they are "wearing down" at this point and allowing some of their frustration to show thru. I will speak to them about this. We want to always put our best foot forward.

I live in the East End and I cannot say enough for the service provided by All Island Fuel for many years. We just got hammered with 12 inches of snow and living on a flag lot always makes me nervous when ordering oil. They attempted to deliver oil to my house once with the snow...didn't work. I cleaned up the area more and the attempted a second time with success! Randy and his team was very communicative and supportive throughout the process and they are the best in the business! Zero stars. Completely unprofessional and unreliable. They cancel last minute, give no real arrival notice, and will leave instantly if you’re not home during the middle of the workday. They also refused service due to minimal snow left on the street from a storm two days prior. Absolute waste of time — do not use.

Hi Tanner, we checked your order and found that we did come to your house to make the delivery. You requested that we call you 15 minutes before we arrived, which we did and then proceeded to your house. When we arrived 20 minutes later no one was home, so we called you again and told you we were now at your house and you said you still would not be there for another 15 minutes. I am sorry but we can not wait at a house for a customer to arrive because this would prevent us from being on time for our other customers. Your review is unfair and inaccurate. We did not cancel at the last minute, we did give you 15 minute arrival notice by phone as request, and still when we arrived you were not there and then requested more time for us to wait for you to arrive.

I've been using All Island Fuel for about four years now and have been happy with their service. They were recommended to me by a neighbor. I recently had an issue with my boiler and the owner and staff went above and beyond to help me resolve it. They offer competitive prices. I highly recommend them.
They’re very friendly, fast, fairly priced, and open seven days. What else could you ask for?
Fuel quality also matters - they supply a better grade fuel than a good deal of their competition.
