I had a fantastic experience with Alford Plumbing & Heating Ltd for my boiler installation, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a professional, reliable, and trustworthy company.
From the very beginning, when I first contacted them to arrange a visit and quotation, the experience was reassuring and professional. David visited us, carefully assessed everything in detail, understood our requirements, and provided a very competitive quotation. He also explained two payment options clearly: a finance option and a discounted price for paying the full amount upfront. This flexibility and transparency gave us great confidence in choosing them.
I would also like to give special thanks to Anja, who handled all the communication from the office. She was extremely helpful, understanding of our requirements, and very reassuring and professional throughout the process. Her clear communication and supportive approach made everything much easier and gave us additional confidence from the outset.
The team understood our requirements and arranged an installation appointment as soon as possible. All the information regarding the boiler, guarantees, and installation was explained clearly, which made the entire process stress-free.
On the installation day, Phil, Ashton, and Tyler did an excellent job. They completed everything on the same day, maintained a high standard of workmanship, and made sure everything was working perfectly before finishing.
A special mention goes to Phil, who was involved from the beginning to the end. He was extremely knowledgeable, calm, experienced, and highly professional throughout the process. His attention to detail and reassuring approach really stood out.
Even after the installation, the service remained excellent. The payment confirmation and boiler guarantee registration were handled smoothly and efficiently. I received all the necessary paperwork and guarantee documents within the expected timeframe, with no hassle at all.
Overall, the entire experience—from the initial enquiry and quotation to communication, installation, and aftercare—was seamless and outstanding. The whole team demonstrated excellent communication, professionalism, quality workmanship, and genuine customer care at every stage.

I have been using Alford now for over 10 years and can confirm that I have never had any reason to complane about thier service.
I had a new Worcester boiler and various other related items installed by Alford in October 2026 and I was extremely pleased with all aspects of the work, from the initial quote through arranging a suitable date and getting the work done. The plumbing engineer who installed our system was Tyler, who was excellent in every respect from explaining what he would be doing, carrying out the installation, and explaining everything about the operation of the system to us afterwards. I highly recommend Alford Plumbing & Heating Ltd.
The Engineer arrived on time. When the service was completed, he gave us a description of what he'd done. The boiler area was left clean and tidy. A pleasure to deal with, and excellent service all round including the Office staff. Many thanks.

Seamless and flawless. Easy to book, turn up when they say they will. Produces a report, invoice and payment details immediately on completion by email, can forget about it now until next year.
