I will never call anyone else with plumbing issues again. I had a bigger company come out and they gave me the run around, charged me a mint and did not fix my issue (actually broke my sewer pipe) Max swooped in and saved the day. The crew is respectful and efficient. I would highly recommend this company for any plumbing job, big or small, mine was big, (the other company said I should sell my house, ugh) Thanks Windy City Rooter.

I had to have my sewer line replaced and a cleanout installed about 5 years ago and after getting several quotes Windy City Rooters was the one I chose, they weren't necessarily the cheapest but not the most expensive either however I did feel that they were the best for me, they were very customer oriented and made sure I was satisfied with the job when it was finished. I recently had a back up in a different section of my sewer and there was no question of who I was going to call, they came right out and took care of it. 5 stars

On a Sunday night (9:15) my downstairs toilet overflowed. After snaking it for 30 minutes with no positive results I turned off the water and started calling emergency plumbing companies. On my 4th attempt I got a live person at Windy City. They were here by 11pm to assess the situation. My septic was backed up. The main water was shut off. Bobby called the office and made arrangements for fixing the problem on Monday. A septic company was out the next day to pump the septic. The owner (Max) and crew were out to determine a resolution. They found the problems and expedited the repairs. The entire team was very professional, informative and respectful. I've never heard of this company, living 90 minutes away, but the entire experience with them was unbelievably positive. From the service crew to my interaction with the office staff was superb. We have had a couple different issues lately and James and Jason have been to my house a couple of times. They are knowledgeable and helpful and have gone above and beyond to solve the issues we had. The same is true for the other employees that have assisted. I'm so pleased with the work they did that we won't be using anyone else for our plumbing needs.

A few years ago we had some sewer blockages. They came out and instantly said it's a cracked sewer line because they could see the front sidewalk leading to the door has shifted and had some settling in my front yard. They didn't do any work (camera, etc) to show that was the problem. They needed to dig up my front lawn, install a clean out in front, and would charge $3800. After they dig everything up they found no issue on my property. Still charged for everything and I had a torn up front yard. Do not use these people at all.

Scott and Alan came out for an emergency ejector pump replacement on Friday at 5pm. They were able to find a suitable pump and install it by 830pm. Both were very professional and courteous. Thanks for going the extra mile guys!

Quick response and they took care of our issue very quickly. We have been using them for many years and they never disapoint.

$800 to snake a backed up sewer when roto rooter is a third of that? Not sure what I paid for other than they came out fast. Next time I’ll wait and save the money.

Windy City Rooter is the only plumbing company I’ll use. From the operators answering the phone to the plumbers themselves everyone is friendly, honest, and works to fix the issue you are having. Upfront fair pricing, timely service. I fully trust them and would recommend them to anyone.

Max and his whole team were a pleasure to work with and would use these guys again in a heartbeat. Very responsive and efficient team. Water drainage issues appear to be fixed and hopefully no more issues. Appreciate the help folks, thank you.

Windy City rooter saved our film camp. We had multiple children in our studio and the toilets broke down. With the studio being full we were in a bit of a panic mode. We called Windy City Rooter and the office manager Tara was so understanding and so efficient and knowledgeable that she had her team at our location within an hour. Alan the plumber was very knowledgeable and pleasant and patient with my lack of knowledge into the intricacies of plumbing and he had both bathrooms up and running within another hour. The owner of this company really takes pride in hiring the most efficient and personable staff and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. I got lucky finding Windy City Rooter!!! By the way the price was fantastic. . If you have any plumbing issues be sure to give them a call. I guarantee you the luck will flow your way as well. Thanks everyone.

The team at WCR is the best around! I reached out in an emergency with water filling my basement. The office manager, Tara, was polite, friendly and empathetic to my immediate need to make the problem go away! Within just a few hours, Max and Bobby showed up and got right to business! Never even stepped foot in my house! Pretty quickly they found the problem and made it go away! Max took the time to advise us on how to resolve the issue permanently, answered the million questions I had and made sure we would be ok until we could get our lines replaced. They were super fast and very resonably priced! I will definitely be using WCR for this future repair and recommend them to anyone who asks me if I know a guy! Thanks WCR!!

This review is solely based off a visit that turned into a quote, so cannot comment of quality of work but more customer service. We had a intermittent blockage progressively getting more frequent; and all I wanted was a camera scope and cleanout from basement to road to see what problem is and obviously fix the immediate issue (with hopes of learning more to create a permanent fix). Wife googled rooter plumbing and this company was first in line with labeling of "free estimate." First off "free estimate" is not free. In order to get an estimate they needed to drop a camera; which they did but did not see anything but mud from an assumed front yard clean out access point. I kept asking to get a scope from the house and the gentlemen insisted that would be waste of time because if down stream was collapsed then not worth looking further. I am not an expert or even novice in plumbing so whatever. Got a $8K+ quote to get a full home main drainage replacement. All that cost around $475 (because of the "camera use"). Later that day I reached out to an old timer plumber who did rooter from the house and got a bunch of roots (which yeah I get will be ongoing long-term issue, but not a collapsed line). Then come to find out, the Windy City guys who kept trying to state the line is collapsed where dropping their camera scope into an old well access pipe out of the ground. Thank God for old timers who understand residential plumbing and older buildings (old well confirmed by engineer friend who has access to geoengineering equipment). Dunno, maybe this is a common error in plumbing/drainage quotes. All this was couple months ago and we have had zero plumbing issues. I should have known that anytime a quote provided by a company that gives you a 24hr timeframe to accept for "special discount" is a red flag. With out old home we have had multiple contactors come through: some really good and some mediocre; and I feel if we did sign a contract it would have been a mediocre experience (again, can only base the review from the quote and poor problem diagnostic-not actual work). The 2 gentlemen were friendly and respectful, one stating he is the owners' nephew. Just frustrated that they seemed more excited to get a quote and contract signed than accurate diagnosis of problem.

This past Friday Windy City Rooter fixed the sewer pipe leaving my house. They performed an excellent job, extremely clean, and were very professional. I would highly recommend them.

I have used WCR for the last 10 years they installed my sewer clean out valve and my main sewer pipe among other jobs - I call them every year to do routine clean out of my sewer lines to clear out tree roots . Max is my go to for all my plumbing issues .
