Our tour with Vincenzo was really great! He took the time to talk to everyone from the group. Knows a lot about the Etna and didn't step too fast. It was a great experience and would recommend it at friends and family.

Vincenzo was great - engaging without being overbearing, and clearly knows what he’s doing. He comes from a family that’s been in this work a long time, and you can feel the depth of experience in how he runs the day. He’s knowledgeable, multi-talented, and has a real love for Sicily, the land, his people, and especially the food! Safety was always the priority, but it still felt like an adventure. I appreciated how he paced things and seemed to pick up on what we were drawn to, shaping the day in a way that felt natural.
We were completely unprepared for how breathtaking the summit would be! Photos don’t touch it! Vincenzo also pointed us toward one of his favorite places for the rest of our road trip, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our vacation! If you’re on the fence, go. You won’t regret it.

We booked a private excursion with Vincenzo with a pickup from the cruise port. There we 6 of us with a wide range of ages (3, 7, 36, 39, 63 and 65). He picked us up just outside of the gate and we drove most of the way up the mountain and stopped at a small bakery. He introduced us to a local sweet treat "granite" which is like a fruit icee. (He also reminded us this would be the last bathroom break for a while, which was helpful to know.) Then we did a tour of craters on the side of Mt. Etna from an eruption in 1865. This was family friendly, the last portion of the hike was a little more steep, so grandma stayed back in the shade, but the rest of us made it up and down without too much difficulty. After this we went down the other side of the mountain to the small town of Milo where we had fresh "arancinis" which were amazing and wine and beer and relaxed for a bit in the town plaza. It was a great excursion and Vincenzo was amazing. He knew so much about the area and flora/history of Mt. Etna, a very interesting excursion for us. I would highly recommend!

Etna is mesmerising and wonderful and Vincenzo is the best possible guide for experiencing this utterly beautiful mountain. He is so friendly, knowledgable and passionate about this region and very clear in explaining the natural process, of which Etna is part. He explained the vegetation, how volcano’s work and their impact on nature. Everyone in our group of 7 thought his personality, knowledge and guidance were a 10/10. Cannot recommend him more highly!
Amasing guide! Very kind and caring, gave us jackets and boots because we went to the top of the Etna and it was a cold day. He led us on paths where other groups didn't go and gave us some freedom that only comes in small groups that he is leading. I loved that personal touch and would recommend Vincenso anytime with great confidence 🙌

We had a fabulous tour with Vincenzo today. He was great about communication before the tour and prompt and helpful the morning of our excursion. we had 5 children with us and he did a fantastic job of helping all of us have a wonderful time, despite varying levels of ability and interest. We learned so much from him and had an amazing experience. I highly recommend Vincenzo as a guide on Etna. His passion for the volcano and the mountains is evident in all that he does. He also gave us a fantastic recommendation for lunch after!

Tout d’abord, Vincenzo est une adorable personne, très généreux, gentil et drôle et qui saura, à coup sûr, vous faire passer votre plus belle journée en Sicile ! Qui plus est, Vincenzo est passionné par les volcans et vous guide aussi bien dans le chemin à prendre pour visiter l’Etna, que dans la faune et flore locale (plantes toxiques à ne pas toucher, histoire des plantes, des phénomènes liés aux éruptions, à des cailloux spécifiques, etc…) ainsi que sur son village actuel Milo au pied du volcan, dans lequel nous avons dégusté de la gastronomie locale avec une vue simplement magique. C’est de loin, ma plus belle journée en Sicile, je recommande Vincenzo les yeux fermés !

Vicenzo a rendu notre voyage inoubliable grâce à sa gentillesse et sa générosité.
Très arrangeant sur le lieu de prise en charge, nous avons débuté la journée à bord de son mini-bus direction l'ETNA (bonne playist de musique pour commencer).
Durant cette journée d'excursion, il a pris le temps de nous transmettre sa passion pour les volcans et toutes les anectodes autour de sa région qui lui ait si chère. Son français est excellent (pour ne pas dire parfait).
Le clou du spectacle a été la découverte de la gastronomie locale dans son petit village de campagne, entre la mer, les vignes et l'ETNA.
Merci pour tout, cela restera ma plus belle journée en Sicile sans aucun doute.
Je recommande ce guide les yeux fermés.

Could not recommend Vincenzo more highly. Everything from communication ahead of time, flexibility and advice around our options given weather and volcanic activity, to the trip itself. Vincenzo was knowledgeable and passionate about Mount Etna, was great with the kids, and gave us a memorable day out. It is the clear highlight of our trip. He even called the day before our trip to tell us Etna was about to erupt… watching the eruption from Taormina by night was magical!

Vincenzo is a wonderful guide.
We booked him for a family (girls 9 and 12) day trip. He picked us up at the harbour and took us to the top of the vulcano via bus, gondola and truck. The tour customed perfectly to our needs. Vincenco matched the girls' pace and answered all their questions. We got to see and touch snow, feel the heat near the craters and hike in the moonlike landscape.
On our way back down we even visited a volcanic cave (with helmets and flashlights) and enjoyed some Italian specialties in a vineyard nearby. An awesome finale to an unforgettable dayfd

Fantastic shore excursion to Etna last month. Vincenzo was excellent all the way...from initial WhatsApp contact (very responsive) to the actual trip date....when we needed changes to the itinerary, even last minute, he was thoroughly accommodating and took care of us from A to Z. Highly recommended!!
