I've recently had a terrible experience with Jeremy Grant.
I have a bike for sale on FB Marketplace, Jeremy reached out to me and we negotiated a price ($6500) given he will have a technician evaluate the bike. He asked me to bring the bike in and I told him I’d bring it in on Saturday (August 28).
The bike is still in mint condition and has close to 350 miles on it.
On Saturday I took the bike in as agreed, it was evaluated and after it was complete, Jeremy offered $6000 which was $500 lower than what he agreed to over chat. He cited that he didn’t have the correct estimate or value of the bike when he offered me $6500.
My biggest concern is that this is a classic bait and switch scam, why would someone wait 2 whole days to figure out the value before making an offer?? At the end I even agreed to take his offer since I already had the bike at the dealer if he paid me on the spot and he didn’t agree to pay me citing that he didn’t have any accounting folks in and can only wire money on Monday. How do you complete transactions on weekends if you don’t have any accounting or finance folks in?? Do you not sell bikes over the weekend??
I didn’t sell my bike and took it back and I want to make others aware if they’re thinking of selling theirs to the dealership. I can’t speak for other sales people there but stay away from Jeremy.
Super helpful and accommodating. Installed rear sets, levers, and lever guards. Had a small issue with the rear sets coming loose. Think I rode the bike too soon and lock right didn’t have time to set so my shifter came loose, but they helped me out and offered a free oil change and to check the rear sets out for me again! Highly recommend this place if you want things done professionally
Writing from the perspective of a seller, I worked with Jeremy over the course of several weeks in the process of selling my motorcycle and I could not have been more pleased with the experience.
I had a lot of reservation sending someone the title to my bike before having a check in my hand but Jeremy made me feel comfortable and confident in the process the entire time.
