His white glove service unburdened us from the stress of making sure "we did everything" and provided an expert-level, reassuring and calming presence while he chauffeured us through multiple towns in Tuscany. If you are looking for a loud tour guide shouting into a bullhorn while carrying an umbrella in the air, then please look elsewhere. What Leonardo / Tuscany Excursions provide is a bespoke, professional and unique service tailored to your interests. Think of him as a Michelin star sushi chef. You can order items a la carte. Or you can surrender to his expertise and go "omakase". Either way, you won't go wrong. Highly recommend with absolutely zero reservations!

We had Alessandro conduct our tour ya couple days ago and it was fantastic. Tuscany Excursions set up a great of wineries including lunch. They curated a tour based on my interests in wine and the region. Also, Alessandro was fantastic in that we had a wonderful conversation about the wine, grapes and the region history. The conversation with Alessandro was so. Helpful and informative providing us with a good contextual understanding of the area, wineries and its history. It wasn’t a tourist oriented canned presentation. We will use Tuscany Excursions again.

Leonardo helped me craft a wonderful 8 hour day trip from Florence where my family was picked up at our door by a comfortable air conditioned Mercedes. The wineries that he suggested were wonderful with amazing wine, food and breath taking views. We would definitely engage with him again if we come back to Italy.

Nuestro viaje comenzó un poco frustrante por la dificultad de movilizarnos, pero Alessandro se encargo de hacer nuestra estancia en Florencia maravillosa. Un tour de lujo por la ciudad, nos busco encel hotel, nos llevo a un almuerzo espectacular mirando los campos de la toscana y nos hizo el transporte en un vehículo de lujo e impecablemente cómodo. Excelllent Florence Day Trip We had an amazing 8 hour private day trip from Florence where we visited the leaning tower of pisa as well as 2 wineries. Leonardo took care of all of the scheduling with the vineyards. The day was absolutely perfect where we got great pictures, amazing wine and delicious food. I would definitely book with this operator in the future.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Fantastic Experience with Tuscany Excursions! Tuscany Excursions was nothing short of prompt, professional, personable, and knowledgeable from start to finish. Communication was excellent—from the initial email to the confirmations and questions leading up to our trip. They were always quick to respond and extremely professional. Having previously run a car service myself, I really appreciate how responsive and organized they were. The only small recommendation I would make is that they confirm with the customer the day before rather than having the customer reach out to confirm. Our driver, Leonardo, was absolutely fantastic—and I don’t use that word lightly! He was passionate, intelligent, incredibly knowledgeable, polite, and genuinely enjoyable to spend the day with. We had wonderful conversations and learned so much about the area during our drive from Florence to Siena, San Gimignano, a beautiful winery for lunch, and back to Florence. Spending a full eight hours with someone can certainly feel like a long day if the person isn’t personable, but Leonardo made the entire experience so enjoyable. We truly loved our time with him and felt like we were traveling with someone who genuinely cared about making our day special. The Mercedes van was beautiful, spotless, and extremely comfortable. Leonardo arrived early to pick us up and stayed in communication throughout the day, especially when dropping us off to explore different areas. Everything was seamless and stress-free. We highly recommend Tuscany Excursions and especially Leonardo to anyone looking for a private day trip from Florence to explore the surrounding areas of Tuscany. The service, vehicle, communication, and personal attention were all exceptional. 5 stars all around! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We would absolutely use them again!

In tanti anni di servizio è la prima volta che ci capita un errore del genere, e ce ne assumiamo la piena responsabilità — non è lo standard che offriamo ai nostri ospiti.

10/10 Tuscan Sunset Dinner Excursion We had an incredible experience in Tuscany curated by Leonardo and Alessandro. While staying in Florence we wanted to get into the Tuscan countryside and enjoy a sunset dinner at a winery. Leonardo and Alessandro were able to customize our timeline to meet our needs. Alessandro drove us an hour outside of Florence to San Gimignano, a quaint medieval town with gorgeous views of the countryside and great shopping. They also arranged for a fantastic sunset meal at Cantinetta dei Logi, the restaurant at Colombaio di Santa Chiara. We all enjoyed this so much (Me, My Husband and our teenage son and daughter). Great views, wonderful service and fantastic food. We returned to Florence after about a 5 hour excursion. It was perfect for us. Alessandro is very knowledgeable of the wine history in the area which made the car ride to and from more enjoyable. Thank you Leonardo and Alessandro!

Unforgettable Tuscan day trip We hired Alessandro for a private Tuscan day trip in late June 2026. The day was amazing, we learned more about Tuscany than we ever imagined, we tasted olive oil and wine, and loved spending time with our tour guide. We chose the company because of the prompt response to our initial solicitation and openness to assist in planning an itinerary. Alessandro promptly replied to all of my emails and offered helpful advice when deciding where to go. We ultimately decided to go south from Florence to Siena with a few stops for tastings and sightseeing along the way. Immediately after picking us up, he took us up to the Piazza Michelangelo for an amazing view of Florence. We then embarked on a delightful, educational, and remarkably comfortable road trip through Tuscany. At Alessandro’s suggestion, we stopped at Monteriggioni, a medieval fortress town. Then onto Siena where we toured its stunning Duomo. Alessandro recommended an olive oil tasting at a small oil producer in Panzano. We then tasted wine at Montecalvi Winery in Greve. Alessandro’s extensive knowledge of the history of Tuscany (and a great many other things), his impeccable English, and charming personality made our Tuscan day trip truly unforgettable.
