Fabio - was amazing! He was a very safe Driver, he was great at communication and he was an amazing tour guide along the way worth every penny of the drive. I would highly recommend this company. Our original driver because our plane times got changed and delayed. He was not able to make it to get us, but he had another driver there waiting for us when we got there which was Fabio. I will use this company every time I came to Italy.
We chose Amalfi drivers for two transfers during our 20th anniversary trip this year. We chose them based on several reviews from other travelers.
They were not the cheapest but also not the most expensive. The drivers are local and if you’ve ever driven or rode in a car on the Amalfi coast roads, you know you want a local.
We took a train up from Villa San Giovani to Salerno and booked a transfer to Positano. Unfortunately our train was delayed over two hours. Thankfully there was no issue. One text and we knew our driver would be there waiting for us.
We also rebooked our trip back to the airport. Amalfi recommended a pick up time that made sure we’d get to the airport with plenty of time. The service was easy to use and very reliable.
Safe reliable drivers, good communication and they arrived early. Fair pricing. Would use them again
I found AmalfiDriver through my own internet search, and I was hesitant to book not knowing much about the company or private drivers in Italy/Sorrento area. I emailed for more information, and Josef answered me personally. He was very patient with all of my questions - I had MANY questions. Ultimately, I booked with him, and could not have been more pleased. Our driver was top notch - service, conversation, knowledge of the area (we went from Neranno to Pompeii to Rome airport), and comfort. Highly recommend AmalfiDriver. Fair priced and excellent service.

Ravello, Amalfi and Positano Tour - cruise
Marco and Josef are top notch. This was our second time booking with them and if there was a third, we would go with them again. From booking us the perfect lunch spot and helping us arrange for the perfect proposal, they were responsive and knowledgeable. We were on a cruise and we made it back well ahead of time. The BEST.

We booked a custom tour with Amalfidriver.com and had Marco as our driver. Our request was customized to have us picked up at our hotel in Sorrento with our massive pile of luggage, take us on a tour of the Amalfi Coast and then take us to Herculaneum, for a tour with a professional archeologist, and then finish by dropping us off at our hotel in Naples. The entire day was about 9-10 hours and was wonderful. Marco had lots of little surprises for us along the way that really made the tour special. They did such a a good job that when we were finished for the day, we decided to have them drive us to Rome the next day! It was a great day and very informative and entertaining. Would definitely book again with Amalfidriver.com. Oh, and Josef, the owner of the business...I don't think he sleeps. Without exception every message I sent him was answered within a few minutes. Very prompt responses. Good companyt and team to work with.

Nous avons bénéficié des services d’AmalfiDriver pour une journée entière personnalisée de Naples à Amalfi, avec excursion au Mont Vésuve, visites à Pompéi et Herculanum avec un guide archéologue privé, puis dépose à Amalfi en fin d’après-midi. La journée a été entièrement organisée, billets inclus, archéologue, et arrêt au restaurant le midi par le prestataire ( nous étions 4 adultes de la même famille). Francesco, notre guide archéologue qui nous a accompagné sur les ruines est extrêmement cultivé et a vraiment enrichi nos visites. Ce fut une magnifique journée, Marco notre chauffeur-guide était très ponctuel et attentionné, et nous a donné beaucoup d’informations sur la région, avec des anecdotes historiques et linguistiques très intéressantes. Sa bonne humeur et sa disponibilité ont fait de ce voyage un réel moment de plaisir. Le véhicule climatisé était très spacieux et confortable et nous avons eu de l’eau fraîche à volonté, ce qui était vraiment appréciable avec la chaleur très élevée à l’extérieur. Merci infiniment à Marco et Giuseppe pour leur service très professionnel. Ce jour là restera gravé dans nos mémoires avec un grand sourire. Nous les recommandons sans hésitation à tout visiteur qui aurait besoin d’un tour ou transport dans la région.

We had two absolutely outstanding drivers during our trip, and both deserve an A++ rating.
Marco drove us from Naples to Pompeii and then on to Hotel Cetus. He was fantastic from start to finish — entertaining, thoughtful, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable about the cities, history, and culture all along the way. He made the drive feel like part of the experience rather than simply transportation. His personality, stories, and local knowledge made the day even more enjoyable.
Antonio was equally excellent on our drive from Positano to Cetara and Hotel Cetus. He was friendly, entertaining, thoughtful, and full of great information about the towns, culture, and life along the Amalfi Coast. We thoroughly enjoyed the conversation and appreciated how comfortable and enjoyable he made the entire trip.
Both Marco and Antonio went above and beyond. They were professional, personable, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to spend time with.
We would absolutely request either of them again and highly recommend them to anyone visiting Naples, Pompeii, Positano, Cetara, or the Amalfi Coast.
