Eigentlich wollten wir nur kurz ein paar Flaschen Weißwein kaufen, den wir in einem Restaurant entdeckt haben, dank João wurde daraus jedoch ein unvergesslicher, fast dreistündiger Aufenthalt.
Nach dem einladenden Empfang, haben wir uns spontan dazu entschieden noch ein paar Gläser Wein auf der wunderschönen Dachterrasse zu genießen, wodurch der Besuch zu einem echten Highlight wurde.
João hat uns von Anfang an hervorragend beraten, ist auf unseren persönlichen Geschmack eingegangen und hat uns verschiedene Weine empfohlen.

Absolutely loved the tour, both through the vineyards, the ancient olive trees, the history and the wine tasting. Pedro, our tour guide was excellent, informative, and fun throughout our wine journey at Mainova. I highly recommend the winery, the wine, and Pedro. ( ask him to tell you a joke...he has a few.) It is a winery and experience you shouldn't miss.
World class olive oil / wine tasting and tour experience. We had an absolutely amazing time leading about this young winery on our second trip to the Alentejo region. It’s definitely not just our new favorite producer in the region, but also one of the best tasting experiences we’ve done, from Napa to Tuscany to Bordeaux, and beyond. Cannot recommend this one enough!
A young winery & olive oil producer by comparison, but a must to stop and experience Mainova. We stopped on our travel day from Evora to Lisbon.
Their viticulture program is unique, the vineyard tour & tour of olive groves comprehensive and educational with a relaxed feel.
The olive oil tasting/education was outstanding as well as the wine tasting and lunch. Our guide, Pedro, could not have been more hospitable. An easy going and friendly presentation along with a full breadth of knowledge, made our experience top notch for those who have little to no wine experience as well as those who have a deeper knowledge. Plan a stop there for sure!

MAINOVA was one of the highlights of our trip to Portugal. We loved learning about the history of the property, as well as the wine and olive oil making process. It was one of the best experiences we had during our trip to Portugal. Everyone there was incredibly friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what they do.
The olive oil and wine tasting was outstanding—every product we tried was absolutely delicious and of exceptional quality. The location itself is breathtaking and made the whole experience even more special.

Amazing! We felt so welcome yesterday (30-06-26). Gaby is very passionate and well informed. She made the tour even more fun. The tour around the vineyard was very enjoyable and amazing to see the old olive trees, that will outlive us by many years. Beautiful piece of history. The wine and olive oil tasting was great. Great combinations and story’s from Gaby. Before we started, she asked us for any preferences in the wines (more with or red) to maximize our experience. High quality wine and olive oils, wich we will definitely enjoy back home. We stayed a little longer and eventually the daughter and her father came in and enjoyed their lunch. They even offered us some of the stew they prepared, wich made it even more special for us. Many thanks!
