Great wines great venue
Dropped in as passing (don't be put off by closed gate - just buzz), so glad we did ! Gabi was so welcoming and informative, told us about the wines, which are great and allowed is to taste a couple on their outside terrace so we didn't have tbkrave out dog in the car. Bought several bottles as these wines are worth the price. The venue itself is also beautiful. Highly recommend around.
My wife and I had a wonderful time during our olive oil tasting and tour. Our guide host Pedro was superb! He was very knowledgeable and very personable. He took great care of us during the tour and tasting and I would highly recommend Mainova to anyone visiting Portugal!
Vinhos excelentes, experiências vinicas e visitas guiadas na adega a não perder. Os edifícios originais da quinta estão em ruinas mas o novo espaço da adega tem uma arquitectura moderna muito interessante.

It is a spectacular place, what I loved was having created my own olive oil, the wine was also super delicious, the vineyards simply beautiful, I would definitely return.

에보라 근교에 있는 마이노바 와이너리에서 환상적인 와인다이닝을 경험했습니다. 마이노바 와인 품질이 매우 우수한데 한국에서 살 수 있는 종류가 적어서 슬펐습니다. 지프를 타고 구경하는 드넓은 포도밭과 올리브 나무들의 풍경도 아름다웠고, 2천살이 넘는 올리브 나무도 볼 수 있었습니다. 몇 년 후에 와이너리 호텔도 문을 연다고 하니 꼭 다시 가 보고 싶습니다.
Our tour guide, Pedro, the BEST! He takes his time to get to know the group of people and how much they want to learn. We felt like we were the only people around due to his focus. We had so many laughs in between learning so many things. Definitely a must visit!

The Mainova wine and olive tour was AMAZING. Our guide Gabi took us round the production areas and told us how the wine was made, then we rode round the vineyard and Olive groves looking at the different grapes, also bee hives and a small lake/reservoir (they use all their own water from the lake and by collecting and storing rainfall).
Then we had a lovely "light lunch". We started with sliced meats & cheeses, olives, pistachios, and a lovely nutty bread with olive oil. Then a soup and two vinaigrettes (pork and cuttlefish). Then some local pies (which were tasty but quite dry). Lastly ice cream dressed unusually with olive oil and salt. Over the course of the meal we had 4 different wines - a fresh white with the charcuterie, a more robust white with the soup and vinaigrettes, a red with the pies, and a slightly sweet wine with the ice cream - 2 glasses of each; I liked the last one best.
Altogether we were there over 3 hours. Gabi was a wonderful host, easy to talk to, and very knowledgeable about the wines and wine-making.
Needless to say, we bought some wine on the way out.
Amazing wines, as a vineyard owner myself, it it always a pleasure to get to know other vineyards with such care to the craft and the land. Absolutely lovely, specially the white wines.
Incredible experience, amazing wines and olove oils. They produce everything organically and you learn so much about their product and the region. And of course the wines are exceptional. Huge thanks to David who gave us the tour.

Fantastic experience would definitely recommend, had a tour of the olive groves and vineyards, so interesting and then a wonderful tasting session. Very knowledgeable and superb facilities.
