Déçus par la prestation
NOTRE EXPÉRIENCE :
Nous étions 4 adultes français et avions réservé par internet avec une demande de visite en français (17,50 euros par personne).
A l'accueil, la personne nous dit qu'il n'y a pas de guide français ni d'audioguide.
On nous a envoyés dans une salle avec un groupe d'Anglais. La guide de ce groupe a ignoré notre demande de traduction et on a dû suivre ce groupe dans l'usine. La visite devait être intéressante mais pas pour nous.
Au final, après avoir insisté auprès d'une autre guide "anglais" nous avons eu droit 1 heure plus tard à une vidéo en français de 7 minutes et une brève présentation de 10 minutes par une guide parlant français (car il y en avait une très bien d'ailleurs !!!). Avec une meilleure organisation des réservations, l'établissement aurait pu nous joindre à un groupe de français.
Bref, cher payé (70 euros pour 4) pour une vidéo de 7 minutes et une explication de 10 minutes.Nous espérions un peu plus de considération.
Het is veel te duur in vergelijking met andere musea activiteiten in de streek. 35 EUR voor 2 personen. Bovendien is er GEEN activiteit meer buiten het prepareren van de kurk voor transport naar het noorden van Portugal waar de kurk verwerking gebeurt. De video waar de activiteiten getoond worden kan ik ook thuis zien. Het is wel leuk om te zien dat het snijden van de kurk een ambacht is, maar het laten proberen door de aanwezigen vind ik een gevaarlijke zaak: de arbeider had beschermende handschoenen, de bezoekers niet. Inderdaad in het museum do traje in Sao Bras is stukken interessanter maar dan zonder uitleg. Ingang +/_ 2 euro.
Het musea de traje in Sao Bras de Alportel is interessant, bovendien kan je daar voor 4,5 EUR een lekkere koffie krijgen met een stevig stuk ( subliem )notentaart specialiteit van de streek. Ondertussen geniet je van een mooie tuin.
De Eco Cork fact is absoluut de moeite niet waard, het is een . Ik ben dat niet gewoon van Portugezen. In hun repliek schrijft de ECF dat ze niet gesubsidieerd zijn en dat hun prijs van 35 EUR voor 2p wel verantwoord is. Maar met 17,50 EUR PER PERSOON verwacht ik wel dat daar iets interessants tegenover staat. Het gaat hier feitelijk om een opslagplaats van kurk, punt uit. De enige activiteit is het sorteren van kurk. Blijkt dat de ECF deel uit maakt van een geheel van activiteiten, maar daarover wordt niets gezegd. Ik verwijs naar de opsomming op een groot bord aan de ingang van de opslagplaats die in feite ECF is. Op de website is de foto zeer onduidelijk, verwarring dat men denkt dat de hele toer 17.50EUR kost, is dus groot. De ECF zal me zeggen dat ik beter de onduidelijke tekst moet lezen . Ja ik beken, ik heb me laten bedotten. Bewijs te meer dat het een toursttrap is.

In your review, you compare our experience with another institution funded by public/state funds and without a guide, which is not comparable to a visit to a private factory. Our tour includes a personal guide and a detailed explanation throughout the visit.
After visiting more than 50 countries and experiencing many other industrial tourism facilities, we do not consider €17.50 per person for a guided tour to be expensive. In fact, we are among the most affordable guided tours in Portugal or even Europe.
If you wish to visit our country for free, you may enjoy state museums, which generally do not include a guide. If you would like your refund, please contact us directly. However, we believe your review compares experiences that are not on the same level, as public museums and private company tours are very different things in our country.

Sehr interessant. Leider kann man sich auf die veröffentlichten Termine wg einer Führung nicht völlig verlassen. Wir wollten zu einer Führung um 14.00 Uhr, aber da wurde in einer privaten Veranstaltung geführt. Wir bekamen allerdings zum Trost ein Video gezeigt und das Schauen in der Halle und vor dem Gebäude gab viele Eindrücke. Natürlich gibt es auch einen Shop...
Overpriced, overcrowded, and not worth the 20€ entry fee.
Our group of five was pushed through a huge crowd, and with the constant factory noise, we couldn’t hear a single explanation from the guide. The video room was so packed it felt unsafe — I refused to go in because it was clearly over capacity.
Other visitors have mentioned the same issues: large groups, poor audio, and a lack of organization. This isn’t a one‑off problem.
The topic itself is interesting, but the tour is badly executed. For the price, the experience should be far better managed. I wouldn’t recommend it.
De presentatie zeer matig. Ik heb nauwelijks iets nieuws gehoord , wat je niet in het museum " museu do Traje" in Sāo Brás de Alportel kunt leren. En dat nog beter en veel goedkoper in samenhang met de historie van de streek . Het is een commerciele activiteit die ik niemand zal aanraden. Zeker geen waarde naar zijn geld

Wir hatten hier eine Führung durch die kleine Fabrik, wo der Kork vorgearbeitet und dann zur weiteren Verarbeitung weiterverkauft wird. Die Führung war sehr interessant und informativ, aber für unseren Geschmack ein klein wenig überteuert.
Es gibt noch einen kleinen Laden, wo allerhand Korkprodukte gekauft werden können.
It was an easy, pleasant drive to the factory where we had a very informative tour of the factory. Staff were onsite to provide demonstrations of cutting & grading cork plus impressive knife sharpening skills. It is a real treat to see skilled craftsman in action. There was lots of time for questions with knowledgeable staff. Supporting this small community & eco focused business was the highlight of our day.
