Fun learning and tasting experience not to be missed This was a fun afternoon for the experienced as well as novice wine enthusiast. Personable knowledgeable guide/ instructor. Combines slides with some didactic material about Austrian wines and industry with comparison to other international wines. Covers tasting basics in a systematic fashion with appropriate handouts. Stimulating conversation and interaction with all participants strongly encouraged and promoted.. excellent high quality wines (4 white, 2 red) reflecting Austrian specialty. Contrasting cheeses provided as a bonus! Much better than typical wine tastings and all will learn while enjoying the experience. Great value

Outstanding wine tasting with a real wine expert Outstanding wine tasting - probably the best I ever had. Stylianos is a very knowledgeable and great expert in Austrian vines. His tasting has given me a whole new level of appreciation for wines from different regions of Austria. Highly recommended. We were there much longer than the scheduled 2 hour session. Best for friends, wine lovers and also would make for a great company / team event. Beautiful room / facility.

Nancy and I had the pleasure of doing a last-minute tasting with Stylianos Stavridis, founder of Wine Tasting Vienna, and it turned out to be one of the absolute highlights of our time in Vienna. As partners in Auteur Wines in California, we've participated in countless tastings around the world, so we don't say this lightly: this was one of the best wine tasting experiences we've ever had. Stylianos' passion isn't simply pouring great Austrian wines—it's educating people about them. He guided us through six thoughtfully selected wines, weaving together the history, geography, grape varieties, winemaking traditions, and culture of Austria in a way that was engaging, insightful, and never overwhelming. We highly recommend experiencing this Austrian Wine Tasting event! Stylianos is an excellent sommelier, very friendly and knowledgeable with great wine choices and a thorough presentation. We learned a lot about Austrian wines and left feeling more confident about choosing a good Austrian wine. He also had bread, different cheeses and prosciutto to enjoy. My daughter felt that Stylianos was much more knowledgeable than other wine tasting events that she has attended in Napa Valley.

My wife and I just completed a thoroughly enjoyable and informative Austrian wine tasting with Stylianos in his shop in Vienna. He is super knowledgeable about wines from around the world and a lovely person as well. There were two other couples who also tasted with us which made for a friendly and fun group. We tasted delicious wines, learned a lot, all in a comfortable and unpretentious way. Very pleased with the experience and would recommend to others. Thank you Stylianos!
