My family and I had the most amazing time on this food tour and couldn’t recommend it enough! The group boys were so friendly, funny and very knowledgeable about the local food and culture which we would not have been able to experience without them! It was lots of fun riding through the local streets on the motorbikes and they always ensured our safety. Make sure you come with a very empty stomach as they will make sure you leave with a happy full belly!

Excellent tour, veggie-friendly
We really enjoyed our walking food tour and would recommend it to anyone. Kelly was our guide and we were lucky enough to have her all to ourselves. Not only did we learn all about the foods we were tasting but Kelly also helped us with our Vietnamese pronunciation and added lots of interesting info about life in Vietnam/Ho Chi Minh. She also followed up with recommendations for restaurants and coffee shops for our remaining time in the city and sent me a recipe for a dish that I particularly liked. The food was, of course, delicious. We are vegetarian/pescatarian and it was no problem at all for Kelly to accommodate this, we didn't feel at all like we were missing out on anything due to not eating meat (which can sometimes happen on food tours). After reading other reviews we came as hungry as we could (small breakfast, skipped lunch) but there was SO much food. We would have preferred smaller portions so that we could enjoy tasting more foods but still feel comfortable. All in all though, an excellent experience, one of the best food tours we've done, and Kelly was the perfect guide. Cảm ơn!

We were met at our hotel in District 1, given a quick safety brief and overview of what to expect and off we went. I was a bit nervous about hopping on the back of the bike - but was very quickly put at ease - Ricky and Nathan (our guides) made us feel safe and comfortable in the chaotic Ho Chi Minh traffic. We were whisked down side alleys we could never have found ourselves, stopping to eat from vendors who have been in business for 25 - 50 years. Ricky and Nathan, both spoke English and were very happy to answer all our questions and share their knowledge of food and Vietnam in general. Hands down the best experience in Vietnam. CD

I had such an amazing time on this tour! As a first timer in Vietnam, this was the perfect introduction for me. The food was amazing and I didn’t expect the portions would be huge so we definitely didn’t leave hungry. A huge thanks to Mac and Kevin, they were super easygoing and engaged, it felt more like hanging out than a formal food tour. I loved learning the history behind the food and Vietnam. Also being on the motorbikes is 100% the best way to see the city! Definitely one of the highlights of my trip 10/10 ✨

What a well organized, fun, and delicious tour. We booked it relatively last minute (an hour before) and almost immediately received a WhatsApp message from Brian with his arrival time and a question about any potential allergies. We were picked up right on time and driven to the first stop for some banana sticky rice, and then spent the next few hours walking and eating. Brian was a terrific guide and explained every ingredient. He spent the entire time making sure everyone was having fun. I’m very glad we decided to make this our dinner, would highly recommend this.

Listen, do this tour. This is by far the best tourist experience in Saigon. I have been to Saigon once before and did this tour, ever since I left I have been thinking about how good of an experience it was- it is one of the most vivid holiday memories that I kept. It was the first experience I booked when planning my current visit here and, naturally, it did not disappoint. I took my dad along who is a massive motorbike sceptic but he had a ball. If you think your insurance won’t cover it, check because most policies do cover being a motorbike passenger in Vietnam- of course there is nothing to worry about because all of the tour leaders are extremely skilled and safe drivers. We had Emma, Bao, Levi and Andy who are incredible young people with an extremely high level of English. They were lovely to talk to and we had many conversations about life in Vietnam, customs and culture, they even taught us some essential language. Shout out to Bao for those helpful language tips. Oh and of course the food was top tier, as always. Just when you think it can’t get any better, it does. I have never written a review like this but it is well deserved for this tour. Do yourself a favour and book it.

Kelly picked us up from our hotel at 5:00 pm and we went on a culinary adventure. Kelly wanted us to love Vietnamese food and culture as much as she did. She made a real effort to show us what life is like for everyday Vietnamese people. Portions were large, the food was excellent and we arrived home in a “food coma”. Don’t miss this tour if you can handle the walk. Great value for the price.

Highlight of our trip
This tour was the highlight of our trip to Ho Chi Minh City thanks to our amazing guides Emma and Bin. The food, walking the back streets and alleyways of the city and eating from local street vendors was a fantastic way to explore the city and experience the culture. We loved it all and didn't want the tour to end, although we couldn't eat another thing as we were so full!

Emma & Kit were fantastic food guides, nothing was too much trouble. We are a couple in our 50’s, Emma & Kit took us to many foodie stops we would never have discovered on our own. They negotiated traffic like pros & were happy to chat & share lots of information about Vietnam & Ho Chi Minh City. We had a wonderful time, the highlight of our trip! More than a foodie experience
Got to admit I was less than enthusiastic of visiting street food establishments in HCMC. This was the last night of our stay in Vietnam and another couple we had befriended suggested we give in a try. I sheepishly signed up not knowing what to expect and little did I know what fun lay ahead. In the afternoon HCMC was hit with a tropical downpour and it continued well into the scheduled pick up time. I contacted the operator and they assured me the tour would go ahead. Our drivers arrived and I was given a poncho and introduced to Brian who would be ferrying me around town for the evening. Off we went into the rain and made our way around the stops scootering the Vietnamese way. Honestly if this sounds bad it totally wasn't, was a real blast and the rain gave up in the end but I didn't really notice I was having so much fun. If you love food and you love adventure, this tour is definitely for you.
